Many moons ago, there live four groups of cats. There were the swimmers, the runners, the fighters, and the hiders. At first, the four groups could not get along. There were disputes over everything from territory, to borders and prey. Soon though, the four groups settled their differences and began to live in what they believed was everlasting peace. But this didn't last long. Eventually, twolegs began to settle the land, using giant yellow monsters with big claws to remove chunks of trees and plants. They got too close, sending groups of the cats scattering. First, the hiders and the runners fled, some joining other groups, some getting killed, and some running off on their own. The swimmers left next, then the fighters last. All four groups were lost to the monsters. Many moons later, a small group of four cats joined together. One, had fighting ancestors. Another was a decendent of the swimmers, another from the hiders, and the last, from the runners. These four cats decided to carry on the traditions that their ancestors had once practiced. After much work and determination, they created a small camp deep in the disiduois Forest and divided themselves into ranks. Lightining, the fighter, was to become the leader under the name Lightningstar. Wind and Frost, the runner and the swimmer, became Windtail and FrostDapple who became warriors. And Night became Nightshade, the medicine cat. It was from then on that the group of cats began accepting other members, learning about Starclan, and became Lightningclan...

Clan Camp:
Lightningclan is Nestled in asmall dip in the woods surrounded by a thick wall of shrubs and trees that the Warriors wove together. The Leaders Den is made from a sloping cave in the bottom of high rock. The leader of the clan uses high rock as a meeting point, leaping up to call out for clan meetings. The Warriors Den is located near the camp entrance. It was dug out of loose earth and is very wide, spacey, and big enough for several cats to run out at once if there was trouble. the Apprentice den is a hollowed out area of earth located in between the nursery, and the Elders den. Finally, the Medicine cats den. The medicine cats den is located in between the leaders den and the elders den. It is made from a deep cave where a small trickle of water creates a pool in the corner. It has a narrow opening in the top so rainwater and light filters through.

Neighboring Clans:
While Lightningclan was formed on its own, They do have some neighbors. to the right of their territory, where the forest thickens, is twolegplace. On the left side of their territory, the trees begin to thin out and end in a moor. in the middle of the moor is a big river, which separates Lightningclan from another group of cats called

Twoleg Border:
To the left of the camp, where the woods get thicker, lies the Twoleg border. The forest is abrupty cut off and met by rows and rows of twoleg fences. Warriors must check this border often to make sure that the kittypets are keeping to their own side of the fence.

Cave of Shining Waters:
The cave of shining waters is one of the most sacred places to the cats of Lightningclan. By following the river border, you will meet a steep mountain slope. At the top of the mountain is a small dirt path pressed with the paw prints of ainchent cats. Following this will bring you to a glimmering crystal clear pool, surrounded by smooth stone. Cats come here to share tongues with Starclan, mostly leaders and Medicine cats. The medicine cats will visit the pool of shining water once every half moon to receive prophecies and other news from Starclan.

Gatherings:
Like their Ancestors, Lightningclan cats gather every full moon at a sacred place called The Great Oak. Lightningclan cats meet up with Stormclan cats to share stories, and news. During this time there is a truce, and no cats are to fight with one another.
