Apprentice Name:
Pebblepaw (Would have been Pebblefall if she grew up.)
Gender:
She-cat
Personality:
Pebblepaw was never an evil cat. She was a hard worker, loyal to the core for her Clan. But she was afraid. She wasn't sure if she believed in StarClan, so death terrified her. She wasn't overly cautious, but she avoided danger when she could and was more hesitant to go into battle than her fellow apprentices. However, the idea of serving her Clan as a medicine cat didn't appeal to her, so she remained a warrior apprentice. Instead, she did her best with hunting and never complained about her apprentice duties. Pebblepaw was no stranger to fear. She was always a bit wimpy, even when death wasn't on the line. She would rather suffer taunting than stand up to a bully, so she tended to get picked on a bit.
Why are they in the dark forest, and how did they die?:
Pebblepaw bounded through the forest, fear clouding her vision and guiding her paws. The pawsteps behind her got louder, and she heard jaws snapping at her tail. Not dogs, not foxes, no. Cats. She had stumbled across a camp with about 15 or so rogues, and her mentor and another warrior had tried to speak with them, to peacefully ask them to leave their territory. They were shredded, and Pebblepaw had just sat there, cowering in a bush, until she was spotted. Now she was running for her life. Suddenly she tripped, face-planting, and when she tried to stand up she collapsed. She was too exhausted, and she had hurt her leg. As the rogues got closer, a light ginger one - Poppy, she later found out her name was - approached her. "Come with us, little cat. I have some use for you."
She was half-dragged back to their camp, where she remained there for three days, resting and having her leg tended to. She began to grow fond of some of the rogues, despite their cruelness. On the fourth day, they explained why she was here. Screech, a large brown tabby tom, told her their plan, that they wanted information from her in order to attack DawnClan. And, too fearful to deny them, she answered every single one. On the day that they attacked, three DawnClan cats died, and many more were injured terribly, even though DawnClan won. Three souls on Pebblepaw's conscience. When the rogues returned, they were furious for losing and blamed Pebblepaw. The leader, Hare, killed her for it. But when she arrived at StarClan, they cast her into the Dark Forest. Eventually, she spent enough time there to realize fear would destroy her and she eventually lost her fear, and now she truly belongs there.
