Firefeather couldn't sleep at the thought of Hawkpelt and Lichenfoot huddled together in the forest, cold and abandoned. Deciding that a walk may clear his head, he rose from his nest and padded outside. Once out, he glanced up at the pitch black sky, and when he looked down a cat was padding towards him. "Oh, hey-" he began to say, wondering why they were out at this hour, when the cat lunged at him. The two cats scuffled for a moment before the cat caught him in the throat with their claws, ripping it open. Firefeather fell to the ground, his eyes staring blankly, and didn't move again. Satisfied, the killer turned and went back off to their den, waiting for the Clan to awake.
Five cats gone, ThunderClan. The question is, will it become six?

Smudgecloud became aware of the many gazes turning to her and squirmed uncomfortably, her fur bristling. "What are you staring at?" she snapped as a few cat's eyes narrowed. "I don't know. Perhaps..a murderer?" Silentwhisper suggested. Her eyes widened in shock, but there was a hint of forcedness to it. "Me? A killer. You have to be kidding." She tried to walk past the cats, but found her way was blocked. "Smudgecloud, will you leave peacefully?" Talonstar asked calmly. With a sigh, she turned to walk away..and then whirled around and slashed Talonstar's nose. With a yowl of shock he pulled back, but then he and the rest of the Clan attacked the she-cat, pushing her back. Knowing when she was outnumbered, Smudgecloud turned and fled, eventually getting killed by a passing rogue.
Congratulations, ThunderClan! You found the killer and everything has returned to normal.
