"See, you can dance." Jae chuckled and pulled her in a bit closer to him, twirling her around gently. There were a lot of people dancing around them, which would usually make him feel uncomfortable and claustrophobic if it wasn't for that fact that he was actually having fun.

"Go forth Jace. Me an Clara'll follow you in silence. Creep him out as much as I can." Finny nodded.

Jace patted Finny on the shoulder and nodded "Alright then. Follow me~!" He cheered and scrambled through the crowd of people around the pool to get to the other side. As they approached Kyle the other boy's face brightened as if he was excited to see them. "Hi there! You're the host here right? Kyle was it?" Jace came out and said without any hesitation. Kyle nodded and reached his hand out to Jace for a handshake, which he graciously accepted. As they shook hands, Kyle's eyes seemed to be staring closely at their joined limbs, examining them. "And these two girls," Jace pivited in place to introduce the two girls behind him "are Finny and Clara." Kyle smiled and offered to shake their hands as well. "I'm really glad to meet you all."

Finny smiled nervously at Kyle and shook his hand hesitantly. "Uhh..You too..Finny, as Jace just told you." She was a little unnerved by his emphasis of "really."

Kyle's wide, probing eyes looked both girls up and down and then snuck another glance at Jace's hand. "So, my friend here actually wanted to speak with you." Jace pointed out and gestured towards Finny. "Oh?" Kyle cocked his head to the side and tucked his hands into his pockets. "What is it?"

Finny dropped the smile act and stared at Kyle for a moment. "Yeah. Okay, rich kid, what exactly were you doing in the hallway? You were doing something to the wall. What was it?"

Kyle blinked at Finny's sudden questioning, but his smile only grew. "I was fascinated with it." He answered simply and shrugged. "The burn marks on the wall were very intriguing. Especially the handprint. Is it wrong that I would be interested?" As Kyle finished his reply, A stubble frown formed on Jace's face. The handprint? So someone did notice it after all.

Finny picked at the wires of her gloves absentmindedly. "No, not wrong at all. However, I have to warn you." She stepped closer to Kyle. "If you so much as breathe one word about what you found, you will be on the receiving end of my gloves' punch."

Clara //
Clara watched the exchange nervously, lowering her head so that some loose strands of hair fell in front of her face, covering it. "I wouldn't doubt that," she said quietly.

Theo //
"Alright, fine," laughed Theo, gently filling his backpack with cat heads. "So, we can probably dump our stuff here, seeing as we weren't able to go home first. And then, we quest for cake!"

Kyle found her threat wildly amusing. He looked down at the ground, trying to contain his joy. "I won't say a thing." He responded, then glanced back up at Finny with a devious look on his face. "On one condition."
