Welcome to my newest art contest! It's been a while since I last ran one and I've gone through a few characters as well. Seeing as I haven't got very much art of my main characters or my persona and I have managed to scrounge up a few good value pets, I'm setting this contest up to hopefully get some nice art! I originally couldn't decide which character to use for this but I soon decided to add a bit of variety and use four of my major characters to suit most styles. In order to enter you simply need to draw one of the four, though whichever one you choose to is up to you.

Entries will be judged on style, effort and portrayal of the character, and will also take into account bonuses such as animation and detail. The contest will now end in the summer holidays, so the 31st of July, though it may be extended due to lack of entries.

Of all the many words you could use on the subject of Merope Folkvangr, 'human' is most definitely not one of them. Unless, of course, it was used in the sense of 'not human'. They appear now in the form of a human with a vaguely feminine body but no defined gender, and alternate between 'she' and 'they' pronouns almost randomly. Other than the ears and tail of a shifter, they do pass as human rather well, albeit far more curious and fierce than most. However, it seems they are a shifter of an entirely different planet, a youngling who was stranded on Earth a long time ago. Her true form is of a vaguely humanoid creature resembling a canine dinosaur of the dromaeosaurid family, with structures close to feathers forming a spine along their tail and emerging from wrists and shoulder blades. Though the main colour scheme is dark and earthy colours, they have complex silver tattoos and typical reptilian amber-green eyes. They state their name as V'lan-ya, (Vuh•le•ann•yah) and claim their species are those who inspired what humans call 'dragons'.
Recruited into the Federation of Inter-Space Peace, they decided on their 'earth-name' and now remain in mostly human form, though they prefer to talk with the other non-humans.

Like the majority of Unseelie Fae, Kyoukimi takes mischief to extremes. Arrogant, sarcastic and malicious, she loathes humans as she considers them inferior, and revels in their pain. She is a dragon faerie, notorious amongst the Seelie court as the Black Dragon Fae for obvious reasons, one of few Fae to ever be exiled from the Unseelie Court, yet even as an ex-Unseelie Court member, her hatred of humans and Seelie (Light) Court Fae remains.
She's dangerous, malicious, arrogant, cold, calculating, cruel, sarcastic, fierce and ever-so-slightly insane, ready to jump at the slightest opportunity of violence. Kyoukimi is unlikely to change her views even if proven wrong on multiple occasions. She dislikes being predictable and seeks to make friends with those of a similar mindset to her, and though she may seem a strange friend to have she becomes fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect them. Sister' to Kettei Kurokyouki, her summon, and considered 'dragon-sister' by the elder summons.

Born to a family of Ianitees, while Hathor agreed with the vengeful side of the void goddess she was frustrated by the passivity of many of the follower’s ideals. Though trained as a fearsome warrior she decided to attempt to become a wizard, only to find she lacked the natural spark needed to cast magic. Frustrated by the lack of a clear path for her, she ran away to further her studies of swordsmanship.
It was then that she stumbled upon Dianite, who, appreciating her skill with a blade and straightforward attitude, offered her power in return for taking up the mantle of one of his warriors and protectors.
The offer was even open for her to continue on her original path as a wizard, albeit one whose allegiance firmly rested on the side of Dianite, but she found she preferred her place as a warrior champion of the chaos god. She shaved half her head, freeing herself from the flowing hairstyles the Ianitees of her village were fond of, and bound her longer hair into a wrapped braid so it would not hinder her fighting. Now wielding magic she had never dreamed of, Hathor swore her loyalty to Dianite with no doubt in her heart. She takes his death as a personal fault, disappearing to the nether for a while afterwards, and holds deep disdain for Mianitees.
Her bracers hold two items, an eye of ender on the left to show her respect for the Lady of the End, and on her primary hand a ghast tear to signify her allegiance to the Lord of the Nether.

- her wings are the result of a flying ring, not organic
- her horns however are simply a trait of hers, since her village are far from human.
- her favoured weapon is a longsword given to her by her god, which allows her to store her vis and foci within the blade to essentially use it as a wand.
- the magics she is fond of are Thaumcraft and Ars Magica

Child of Cry and Connecticut, Sonja was always going to be a smart and sneaky geeky sort. Her skill with languages means she has a tendency to swap between them without noticing... Which wouldn't be too bad if her secondary language wasn't sign. She is flirty despite not being an overly confident sort, and tend to pull away from attempts to get to know her better despite being the one to talk to people in the first place. She's loud, mischievous and even vulgar at times, but loves cute things, technical things that take skill to master, and meeting people. Connie's confrontational attitude and Cry's psychotic tendencies leave Sonja curious to confrontation, if not as willing to participate in it herself. She's a gaming YouTuber/professional livestreamer, and owns a pet red fox called Corvidae.
