You can just have your domestic start in the lab. The domestics live in there and the dome hybrids in the dome.

Redsong, we can of the scientists don't mess with their way of secreting venom. Or I could have Dorak have some containers/bowls of his venom already. He does like to milk it sometimes.

Speaking of Darwin, I did some research on the venom of platypi and have discovered that it is extremely similar to snake venom, so if Dorak and Gwen were to mix their venoms, it would create something both excruciatingly painful and extremely lethal (as interestingly enough, mamba bites are typically not very painful).

Therefore, Darwin is, potentially, a formidable battleship to be avoided by any who oppose them.

That's what I was thinking. The platypus venom is extremely painful, but not deadly. The black mamba venom is extremely deadly but not very painful. Mix them together and you get the best of both, which would make dragging them into the lab, very dangerous.

Ooh, ooh, and they could create hollow blow darts out of bones to put high amounts of their combined venom in. They could use these both for hunting and attack/defense.

Yess, Dorak would know how to at least make the hollow darts. He's pretty crafty.
