[Lunar Paradox]

In the in between times when day fades into night or spring melts into summer, and at the in between places where paths converge, a veil is parted between the worlds and one may enter the Otherworld, the world of Faery. But use much caution, dear one! For you have entered the Faery crossing, and none return unchanged.

Ever since the beginning of time, the Fae have secretly left their mark on earth. The seasons, the weather, and all the wonders of nature bow to their unique magic. When humans, young and full of potential, first appeared, the Fae were fascinated. Ever since, they have influenced the world of mankind in ways both benevolent and sinister. While the humans did not truly believe in the Fae, legends spread through storybooks and word of mouth. Because the Fae often resembled tiny winged canines, they became known as “Butterfly Wolves.” Children would leave out small treats or trinkets, hoping to catch a glimpse of the elusive creatures. As the technology and power of humans grew, magic was needed less and less. In this new, modern earth, the Fae struggle to guide the footsteps of humans as well as they did in the past. They fade faster and faster and their numbers are dwindling. As one of these Butterfly Wolves, it is your task to continue to spread magic while remaining hidden from the ever-curious humans.

Nyx :: Fae of Dreams :: Intellectual Circle

Power: Dream Creation and Manipulation

Personality: Nyx is a rather mysterious and odd butterfly wolf, as it can be difficult to distinguish her true mood. She often appears to be in a state of daydreaming. Her calm, distant nature can be reassuring to some, as very little seems to phase her. However, others perceive this as a lack of concern for the circle and resent her for it. She enjoys music and prefers to visit imaginative humans. Her role is to bestow dreams upon the human mind, a task which she enjoys immensely. Her partner is the Fae of Nightmares. She does not approve of filling the resting mind with fear, but understands that for the balance to remain dreams cannot only be happy ones. She chose the name Nyx from the Greek mythology of the humans, thinking it suited her line of work.

History: As one of the older Fae, Nyx has seen the world change over many centuries. She does not often speak about the things she has seen, partially because it would take quite a while to get through everything. Besides, she is more rooted in the dream world than in reality. It is rare that she has faded to the point of danger, since humans are frequent sleepers and there is ample opportunity to use her magic. However, it is rumored that a long-ago friend of hers was not so lucky.

Abnormalities: Nyx is a bit different from the common butterfly wolf because she does not have wings. Instead, she possesses two glowing lanterns that contain pure dream magic. She still retains the ability to fly, since this comes from magic more than the wings themselves.

Vulnerability: Rosemary, an herb that can increase a human's alertness and concentration.

Vulnerability
Wood, is a material that majority of the world used. Not alone humans but also nature. Which is only fair since this fae's power is over sound which is found just about anywhere. Even the slightest movement of any creature. She may think she can survivr but think again.

Power
Sound manipulation, is when you can manipulate all forms of sound. O~O

Personality
Music is a gentle soul. Selfless in fact and has an open minded heart. She always respects the heads and any other fae and never underestimates a single one. She enjoys being around humans but don't let that fool you she isn't fearless at all and often cowards around the modern fae.

Story
Music has been alive for quite some time almost as long as majority of the heads. She was never stupid and did know her vulnerability well. Of course she had her downfalls but she managed to escape the woodlands Into the arms of humans. As much as they search for fae, she hasn't been caught once. On top of that she's one of the closest fae to a human aside from the newly modern ones.
