Well, it's happened. My d-day has arrived, taking every little bit of the will that was inside of me. She is all grown up; yet as beautiful as ever.

I haven't seen Percy around lately.

Lucky for him, however. Because as soon as I get my hands on that lying, deceitful, bag of puppy doodoo, he will not know what hit him in his oversized head. I've seen what he does to her. He pushes her and hurts her.

I think he knows that he's hurting me, too. With every thing he says to her, with every lie that leaves his lips, I die a bit more inside. No one should ever have to go through something like that.

Oh yeah, Mir, I forgot to tell you. My family old pride has let me back in. But I only stay for protection.

For her, of course. Every time he yells at my darling beloved, I growl like I am a real lion.

Because I know I'm not. I'm still a kid. At least, on the outside, right?

He hit her. Again. Right in front of everyone. But... I didn't do a very good thing. I kicked his

I told him how it goes when he messes with the one who I will always love. All that stands between me and Alyssa now is the fact that I will never live up to a grown woman's (or man's) expectations. I am a child.

But like I said, only on the outside. I hope she can put this aside--I mean my condition PPS. Then again, when have I ever doubted her? She's perfect in every way possible.

Hey Tam did you by any chance save the ending to your story? I love morbid endings where someone dies, call me a cruel person if you like. ;P

I wrote it on paper and left it at my place. I'll probably be back there in a week or two... my boyfriend likes to keep me hostage at his place. I'll just repost them and continue where I left off when I do then. ^^

And Ursula, you may like my goennec story where the mother is forced to watch as her kid's head is smashed in by the father for being an affected then~ -Coughs- I mean what? >>

There is a similar one, but they looked different as pups, so it isn't a grown version of this one. I was actually going to use it if the story would have kept going, but I gave the nice ending instead of my usual someone has to die at the end. X3

Something like that yes. XD My last one was supposed to be a funny one, where the dog falls in love with a cake dog and then the cake dog gets eaten in front of her... according to a friend while she laughed at how silly it was, she thought it was too sad that the cake 'died' in the end~

^That's just some random moment between them, but it has a bit to do with them being together.
I might write the story tomorrow (or within a week, hopefully, if I figure out a plot), but basically Poinsettia protects Cane from candy-fiends, and somehow it turns into a relationship.
If I figure out any sort of plot tomorrow, the story will come. (Maybe)

EDIT: The reason why Poinsettia doesn't want to eat Cane is because she was born without an abiliy to taste.

Nine more nights. Nine more missed meals. Nine more hunters frustrated enough to attempt bringing each other down just to say they found something for the pack to eat. I should just offer myself up, I'm really nothing more than a big gray hunk of depression. What surprises me is that more of them aren't like that, living in such a dead zone. This isn't the first time we've gone without; it happens a lot actually. But there's nowhere else for us to go; the entire world is like this . The humans get all the food lately. Even entire trees. Dirt is literally the only thing they don't want.

Today, for the first time in a long while, it's raining. So at least none of us are thirsty at the moment. The other hunters and I are out scavenging again, but it's really just an excuse to get out and enjoy the wet, gray, dreary weather. If I were weather, I'd pretty much be rain.

"Hi."

I swing my head around tiredly, met by two enormous sparkling rubies. Oh nope, wait, it's just that weird red chick from last week. Too bad, maybe I could have traded some rubies to the humans in exchange for food. "Hi," I reply, unsure of what else to say.

This is the first time I've gotten a good look at her. She's entirely red, and due to the fact that it's raining out, I'm assuming her fur isn't just dirty from hunting, because it would be washing away if it were. Along her back, her pelt of fresh blood fades into black ashes. But toward her underside, it fades to the colour of fresh snow. Black and white stripes appear on her body at certain places, as well as darker dots of ash. And if I look closely enough, I can see that she doesn't have the thick, longer coat that I have; her fur is actually rather short. She doesn't look suited to a cold climate like this. It's really a very interesting design; almost makes me wish that such strange colours were common among us. I feel that she could be very beautiful, if it were not for her personality. It's apparent in her eyes that she has never been more bored in her life. Even her body posture suggests extreme sluggishness. But then, I suppose that's how I am too, drab and depressive.

"You're not from here." It's more of a statement than a question. "Where are you from?"

She just shrugs, looking around uninterestedly. "Got a name?"

"Dannegiare," I reply. "Call me Danny. How about you?"

"Abhorrette." She sits down, pointing her nose to the ground and letting the rain wash over her.

"Nice to meet you." She doesn't say anything else, so I add, "It's raining. Aren't you cold?"

"No." She's just about as talkative as I am. It'll be hard to actually have a conversation with her.

Before I can say anything else, her ears twitch, and she turns her head around, looking behind her. A small white rabbit crawls out of the bushes, and pauses at the base of her tail. It makes eye contact with her, holding her gaze for just slightly too long, in my opinion, before she looks directly back at me. I've no idea what to make of this. I haven't had rabbit in months.

"Hungry?" I ask her. I realize that I'm actually drooling.

Her eyes grow brighter, more intense, and she gains a strange seriousness. "You can't eat it." Her voice, which at first was soft, very smooth and flowing, is now sharp, though I find that it sounds almost... robotic. Before I can make another comment, the rabbit flinches, and Abhorrette gets to her feet, lumbering off and disappearing with the delicious little morsel at her heels.

I decide that not only am I depressed, I am clinically insane and have begun to hallucinate.
