The black and white tom nodded, rolling his eyes. "Ey! I'm but 30 some moons. It won't be long now, you'll be a bit old yer self!" He said with a joking snap. His short pelt bristled a moment,not used to being more optimistic with anyone besides his kin. He also sensed that the tom was indeed dealing with something more, but didnt see the need to pry. "But, your lucky Im with you, less rubbish to deal with when we return." He meowed before looking up at the stars, padding on. " Your alright though. Just know to deal with your issues head on, don't avoid them. That's what causes failure, I think." He nodded seriously.

He nodded, taking the advice to heart. Wolfpaw walked in silence as he gazed at the stars. He tried no to let his thoughts cloud his mind. 'What would my parents think about this..?' He shook his head vigorously. They wouldn't care anyways. Wolfpaw sighed and looked to his paws. "The stars are pretty dim tonight.."

Sagestep blinked open her eyes, adjusting them to the bright sunlight seeping through the nursery. She sat up with all her effort, noticing her swollen belly. The kits would be born in about a moon. Sagestep was really joyful about the news, but she missed the life of a warrior. She didn't mean to expect, it just happened. With a sigh, she groomed her ruffled fur with soft, delicate strokes of the tongue. Her stomach rumbled, and she was famished. Sagestep stepped into the clearing, spotting cats all around her. She must've been asleep for a long time! Sagestep was more of a morning person, and she usually woke up at dawn or even before that on rare occasions. She padded over to the fresh kill pile and chose a delicious looking mouse.

Sagestep decided she wasn't hungry. Instead, she wanted to go on the warrior assessment patrol. Sagestep padded over to Flickergaze, Rainpaw, Tinypaw, and Flametooth. She mewed in amusement as Rainpaw ordered around the other apprentice. The tom was serious, and she liked that about him. " Do you guys mind if I tag along? I've got nothing else to do, and I might as well get some fresh air." she pointed out. Sagestep remember her warrior assessment clearly. She was really worried that she wouldn't pass. The strictest warrior had assessed her, and surprisingly, she passed. Even though she had missed a squirrel.

{{Hmm, I don't know who I ship! I'd say fogslip and ravenclaw would be a hilarious match, or just ravenclaw and other grumpy cat like flickergaze or someone of sorts, just cause he's so hot headed.
And I ship Tallstorm with himself because lets face it.... He's conceited.

Meadowlark

Meadowlark shook her head, and guided Foxpaw with her tail back towards camp. "Come now, you can tell me and I'll believe anything at this point. We'll see if Mintpaw can give you a poppy seed for your nerves- you're all shaken up, you'll never sleep like that!" The old she-cat looked up at the moon as it climbed higher. "It'll be moonhigh before you know it, and you'll have no sleep. Come," she whisked her with her tail and picked up her own pace.

Redstar

Redstar purred happily and stood, looking up at the now night sky. She stretched and yawned, watching as Krestlenose retired to the Warrior's den. After glancing back and fourth between her own den and theirs, she frowned. She hadn't slept under the same roof as her clanmates since she was Deputy. Licking her muzzle clean, she nodded to Oakfang. "Come, we'll discuss this bright and early tomorrow! For now, everyone rest. I think I'll stay with the others tonight." She padded off after Krestlenose, nudging past him to find an empty den, but saw only half of the Warriors were in bed yet. She looked to Oakfang and her Deputy, confused. "Which ones are, erm, taken?" She meowed to the toms. She knew the one in the center must belong to Meadowlark, as she was most senior, but the others all looked the same.

Ravenclaw

Ravenclaw's tired eyes widened as he was explained the dream, and the prophecy. "A lake cat came to you?" He gasped, starting into a wobbly pace. "That can't be good, can it? That must mean it's serious," he pondered for a moment. "Beware the cats who seem to sleep." He froze, remembering the past night. Flickergaze and Fogslip had been awake the past night, when they were supposed to be sleeping. Infact, so was Armadillotumble of Emberclan and Littlefur, the Medicine cat. Could they be behind the mysterious scents and Flameheart's death? Perhaps he was over thinking the warning.

Tigerclaw

The ragged she-cat gathered her clump of plants and stood. Naturally, she rolled her eyes, but in truth it'd be a good idea. With most of the clan pretending she didn't exist so that they could avoid a grumpy confrontation with her each morning and the absence of an apprentice of her own, she had plenty of time to help Thinpelt and Littlefur with gathering herbs and stocking their stores. She padded after him and through the woods, back towards camp. Just as they neared the entrance, she froze, a peculiar scent passing through the leaves in her jaws and lingering in her nose.
"Do you smell that?" She meowed, her voice muffled. She set down the herbs, spatting at the taste of them on her tongue. The Warrior bent and sniffed at the forest floor, along a wall of bramble. She frowned, picking up the scent a bit stronger amongst the bushes. "Smells like Emberclan scum," She growled. How had they made it this far into the territory?

Tallstorm

Tallstorm rolled his eyes. "No, it's our turn. Come on, mouse-brain." He crossed the clearing and was surprised to see Rainpaw and Tinypaw awake, though he didn't ask them any questions. He strode out of the entrance and found a place near the thorns to lay. With his head on his paws, he tried his best to keep his eyes open despite his fatigue. "This is going to be a long night," he grumbled.

Rainpaw's shoulders sunk as he watched Tinypaw's focus drift. He shook his head hopelessly. "Just, erm, do exactly what I say, alright?" He pleaded, and was startled by Sagestep's approach. "You're awake, already?" He mewed. (I feel you on the wb....)

She nodded at Rainpaw. " Of course I am!" she exclaimed. " Just because I'm expecting doesn't mean I'm going to sleep the day away." Sagestep kindly pointed out to Rainpaw.

Rainpaw twitched his whiskers. "Yeesh," he mewed, his eyes flickering up at the barely settling moon and back to her. "You Queens sure start your days early." He meowed, wondering if there was more than an hour left before sunrise. He then smiled slightly. Sagestep's company could be good. She was a kind hearted she-cat and might be able to convince the other two otherwise incase Rainpaw-or Tinypaw- messed up. "I think Flickergaze will be fine with you helping! At least I can't see why not, right, Tinypaw?" He pressed the young tom for his support, though he wasn't sure how much it would count.

Sagestep waited patiently for Tinypaw to say something. She was a little annoyed at Rainpaw. I guess it had to do with her pregnancy. That stuff always got to her, not that she'd ever had a litter of kits. This was her first one and she already regretted it. Sagestep wished she could just become a warrior again, and rewind what had happened.

The tom nodded softly as he licked his pelt. "Dont be rude to emberclan, for we are all cats of starclan" The tom said with narrowed eyes as he shot a harsh look at the warrior. "Come now lets see what it wants" He said enhailing softly as he turned his head to where the scent was coming from. "Lead the way oh brave warrior" As he turned looking at Tigerclaw. Flicking his ears before softly grabbing the poppy seeds and looking at the adder trees softly. "They should be good" He said softly before turning to look at the warrior.

The young cat slowly placed her paw in the water as she moved, backing up as she looked down into the water attempting to not have her shadow. Flicking her ears as she watched as a few smaller fish swam by before seeing as he quickly swam away with its tail flopping. She shook her head as she moved softly before quickly picking up her paw again as she waited. After a few minuets she slashed her paw into the water quickly picking up a small fish and snapping her jaws around the fish with her tail flicking happily.

The she cat nodded softly looking at Tumblebrush, "Yes things need to be done" She said before nuzzling one of his ears kindly. "If you need to talk or anything, Just call" The queen said softly as she pulled a wad of moss out of the nursery clumping it together and then pushing it out of the den before turning back to collect more of the moss. The queen flicked her tail yet again before picking up the gross moss as quickened her pace as she exited the camp heading to where she could collect small amounts of moss.

The warrior moved his head as he sniffed the ground. inhaling softly as he looked around dropping into a crouch. His ears flicked softly, as he moved sniffing the air before blinking softly as he slowly moved looking as a mouse slowly moved across the bushes. Slowly jumping as he pounced on the mouse before quickly killing it with a bite to the neck before slowly eating the mouse.

The tom watched as rainpaw talked with the she cat. His tail flicked in anoyence as he sighed. "Can we just go.." He said softly licking his chest fur. "We are waitsting time" Flicking his tail as the tom paced awaiting for the apprentices to get a move on.

Walking out of the den after that odd dream she sought out her mentor."Coldcry?" She said lowering her head as she saw wolfpaw. Flicking her ears as she smiled softly in a greeting she always got a little nerves around toms, Wolfpaw most of all. Flicking her ears as she looked at her mentor. "Is there anything you need me to do?" She asked softly her voice tiny and a bit scratchy, as she had just woken up. Flicking her ears as she awaited for him to command her.

Tigerclaw shot the Medicine cat a one eyed glare for several heartbeats before bending and thrusting her muzzle into the grass once more. She pulled back after a moment with her eyebrows furrowed.
"It's stale..." She noted, confused. The scent hadn't been there when the two of them had left. She bent and checked again, picking up another smell of a cat that was mixed with what she could only describe as musty leaves and crowfood. The Warrior looked up at Thinpelt with a bewildered stare. "Come here, tell me what you smell," she invited. Emberclan didn't exactly smell like flowers, but she'd never seen any cat with a scent like the second one.

Krestlenose turned around as Redstar spoke to him. "There is a few empty nests near the front of the den, most of them don't enjoy sleeping near the entrance." He used to his tail to point at the three empty nests. "If you don't want to sleep their I don't mind giving up my nest for the night." The tom offered politely.
