Loki turned his attention away from their surroundings and to Evelyn, slowly shaking his head. "You didn't drag me into this." He tried reassuring her. "I will admit that I did fear leaving, and I still do, but no one forced me into doing anything." It was surprising, even to himself, that he was perfectly fine telling her that he was frightened. He just did not ever want to be captured by those people again, and nor did he want Evelyn to also suffer due to her association with him. He had been shocked by what they were willing to do to him out of spite, people that considered themselves to be heroes. Briefly, he glanced at her hair as she ran a hand through it, and he tucked a strand of his own inky hair behind his ear without really even realizing that he was doing so. He smiled when she mentioned him always seeming to get hurt while being around her. "I'm always getting injured, no matter who I am with." He said with a slight chuckle. It was one of those things that was only amusing in a bitter sort of way, but still amusing all the same. Life truly hated him. So much that it was actually funny. "I've been impaled, electrocuted, smacked around by the Hulk, and you don't even want to know about the dwarf incident. Being grazed by a bullet is nothing, really."

Carter swallowed again. He never really was a very good liar, and so he didn't really know what he had hoped to accomplish by attempting it. As it was becoming increasingly apparent that Tom was going to kill him, in his panic, Carter tried to reason with a man who likely could not be reasoned with. "Look... j-just..." He stammered hopelessly, but cut off abruptly when the knife was swiped toward his neck. He flinched back, but it would never have been enough. Not for a regular person, at least. When the knife's blade did not make contact with his skin however, Carter blinked for a second before realizing what exactly had just happened. Instinctively, he had frozen time. Well, that was one second wasted. He scrambled backward and out of Tom's reach. Two. With only another second to spare, he brought his gun up, but not pointed at Tom. He aimed it at the sky. Three.
Time resumed, and Carter fired three shots into the open air. He was aware that Tom could still very well take his life, but the noise from the gun shots would surely be enough to alert the other S.H.I.E.L.D agents that something was wrong. Would Tom waste precious time murdering one agent, or would he use it to flee?

Blaze was trying not to black out, and held Azrael's hand. Azrael didn't put up the illusion because of what happened, though it was possible, but he was determined to protect his mate from further harm. Death let Despair follow the other horses.

Saying what had happened was a bit more than weird. Tom couldn't really wrap his mind around it. One moment the knife was about to connect with the agent and the next his knife swung at thin air and the agent was backed away. It was like time had glitched. How was that even possible? Well, he didn't have much time to think about it because one moment later three shots sounded in the air. Tom ducked slightly, just in case any bullets were going his way, but he quickly realised the three shots were to alert the other agents. He scowled and looked at Carter quickly. He knew that he only had a span of a couple minutes before the other agents showed up. "Don't think that this is over. I may have to leave but you just got your place as one of my targets," he said before turning and quickly he began running away from the scene. Hopefully there were no snipers set up anywhere near him.

Carter stood there for a moment, watching as Tom fled. It was still sinking in how very lucky he had been. His gift of time manipulation was often ridiculed for being useless, but his 'useless' power had just saved his life. A bit shakily, he reached up and pressed the little communication devise next to his ear.
"This is Agent Carter Eilian. The gunshots came from me. I'm okay, but there's a man dressed in a red velvet suit, and he just ran down the ally way on the right side of the cafe leading to the back. He's associated with HYDRA, and he's armed with at least a knife."
Without waiting for a reply, Carter took off in the direction that Tom had gone, gun held out in front of him. The man was likely long gone by now, but with the other agents heading to their location, possibly already on the roof tops just above him, going after him was worth a shot. He didn't want to live the rest of his life constantly looking over his should because he had landed himself as somebody's target.

Captain America represents the pinnacle of human physical perfection. He experienced a time when he was augmented to superhuman levels, but generally performs just below superhuman levels for most of his career. He has a very high intelligence as well as agility, strength, speed, endurance, and reaction time superior to any Olympic athlete who ever competed. The Super-Soldier formula that he has metabolized had enhanced all of his bodily functions to the peak of human efficiency. Most notably, his body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles, granting him phenomenal endurance.

He also has mastered the martial arts of American-style boxing and judo, and has combined these disciplines with his own unique hand-to-hand style of combat. He has also shown skill and knowledge of a number of other martial arts. He engages in a daily regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics, weight lifting, gymnastics, and simulated combat) to keep himself in peak condition. He is one of the finest human combatants Earth has ever known.

Captain America is an all-around patriot, believing in all of the things that make America great. He always strives to make America even better. He is a very dedicated friend, and has a set group of ideals. He is strictly opposed to any form of oppression. He can be a bit stuck in the past, always remembering the things he lived with during the Great Depression and World War II compared to modern things.

He is considered to be the hero. All other heroes, and even some villains, respect and look up to him. He will not risk an ally lightly, and would die before a single innocent victim is harmed. While a patriot, he is not above casting himself out of his government should they be in the wrong. He also holds no animosity for any other country, and will help them should the need arise.
History:
Steve had always wanted to be a soldier and couldn't find his way into the army to help during WWII. Once he was taken in however, he was put into an experiment for a super soldier. He given the super soldier serum, which is how he got his abilities. He wasn't suppose to head into war, but he did anyways and began taking down Hydra, saving many soldiers and destroying most their plans, however in the end he took down a plane and ended up getting frozen in ice for quite some time before being found by S.H.I.E.L.D. He found himself in an unknown world and soon became the leader of the Avengers.

Spiderman in tandem to combat his many foes. He received most of his powers when he is bitten by a radioactive spider. He uses his technical skill to develop equipment and weapons to complement his powers, and wears a number of costumes, many of which have special properties. Amoung many of those powers, Spiderman heals faster than unaltered humans, It is safe to say that he may have a healing factor, and not just fast healing. He also has a tolerance to drugs and a higher dose must be given to take him out, plus he is vunerable to disease. He can also climb walls and his strength could kill a normal person. He also has the speed of a superhuman, but can only use it for short sprints. Then there is his spider senses along with his web shooting abilities as well which are the most known talents he has

Spiderman's personality at first seems to be immature, but if you take a second look, you can see he's planned everything out and knows exactly what he's doing, riling up his enemy with his wits is Spidey's specialty. He fights for law and order so he has a noble heart. He understand that with his powers comes great responsibility and he takes pride in that.
History:
When Peter was young, his parents left him to live with his aunt and uncle. The reasons were unknown to him. He waited for them to come back, but they never did and they eventually died. The boy wanted to know why they had left and when he found his father's old work partner he went to investigate. While he was in the lab he was bitten by a radioactive spider which gave him his abilities. Only a few days later was his uncle killed and he set out to take down the man who did it. At first he was immature and irresonsible with his powers, but one day he figured out he could be doing greater things with his powers.

Any step Dahlia made towards her, Analise was quck to take two more steps backwards. Letting out a warning bark that if she got to close, she will bite. The cornor of her peripheral vision, she spotted a man pointing a shiny object at her. Whipping around she noticed it was a gun. Posistiong her paws, Analise was ready to lunge. Until roots and vines broke through the cement and wrapped around the man. The gun fell to the ground, disarming the male. Her gaze shifted back to Dahlia, noticing it was her who control those random plants. She's a mutant too. Dahlia must have gone what she's went through and escaped the facility. Edging closer to the crazy haired woman, Analise nodded. Letting out a soft yip and nudging her head against her leg, trying to get the woman to go. "Hey! Get those two!" People began to riot obviously not liking the two mutants. A few people got to close for Analise liking. She snarled at them. Biting down hard on one man's hand, the matalic taste of blood coating her mouth as his screams of pain rang in her sensitive ears. She let go and leaped forward, shifting mid air and landing on a woman's back. Putting her in a headlock, she jerked back and slammed her body forward, causing the woman to slam down on the ground. Analise stood up and ran to Dahlia. "Come on! We can't waste time!" She snapped.

Max range of high intensity bursts is 100 meters. Max for focused burns is 2 miles. Intensity fall of with distance so most potent when she hits thing close up.

Personality: She is sly and slightly arrogant. Rest RPed out.
History: She had a normal up bring. She tried out gymnastics but she wasn't the best. She was then taken into self defence classes and excelled, getting to the advanced level within two weeks of joining. She got her defence master award at age 10 and then went on to be trained to use a stave (a long shaft of wood). Then when she was about 13, while she was using the printer, there was an immense power surge that killed everyone in her house...except her. She lived and gained her powers. But now she has a huge scar running from her left hand up her arm. It came from where she was touching the printer. She discovered her powers when she was put in foster care and she just disappered, reappering in her mother and fathers bed room. Her foster father was there and when she just poofed he had a sevear heart attack and died. She was so devastated that she ran away and is now a street rat who steals to get things to live. She lived there ever since, keeping all the memories of that night bottled up inside.

Azrael took out a syringe of anesthetic, not really caring if Loki or Evelyn was watching, and gently inserted it in Blaze's arm. "Was that really necessary?" Death watched as he put the syringe away. "Yes, so he gets rest" "He hasn't been sleeping well?" The Horseman narrowed his eyes at the archangel. "Well, no. I've seen him lay awake at night, unable to rest."

Samuel secretly watched them, but didn't attack. So... the third kingdom is getting stronger. Not strong enough though. The Blood Prince mostly kept an eye on Blaze, but saw Death staring at him, glaring with what was assumed to be hatred. Then Samael looked back at the body of what used to be Hadrimon. Better resurrect him later.
