Are there any types of equid adoption contests that you don't like to participate in? Any that you prefer?
I absolutely HATE photo contests, naming contests, and gif contests. Sure, it's easy - you pick a photo/name/gif, fill out the form, and toss it in, but if you LOVE that equid... well, it's like throwing a penny in a fountain and making a wish. More often than not, your picture/name/gif is not what the artist likes, and you end up missing out on a design you'd have loved to actually work for. At least in an art contest, I can give it my all and really show how much I want to win. It's a lot of time invested, but it's also a higher chance of winning if you're willing to put in the effort

Either way, I only try out for equids I really love, so a lot of the time I participate in contests I don't like as much. But when that magical equid contest shows up, with just the right quid and just the right comp... you know I'm gunning for it

My mother language is not English hence I dont really like writing contests. Its hard for me to come up with something good and even make it sound good. Other than that I dont really prefer any contests (FCFS dont count anyways, ay?). Making art is probably the one I like most though because when drawing the equid you felt in love for its really great that you can develope a personality already while drawing~

Anything that includes making an art piece. I am absolutely terrible at art (although trying to get better), and I fe that it's not worth my time to get attached to a quid I have no chance of winning. Although, I love to write for lots of the contests, but still there I have little chance.

Late But I had to. Mostly writing ones but more than ever.. Poetry. It is like my Kryptonite, I couldn't write poetry for the life of me, I can never understand it XD. Writing I have a bit more of a chance at, but it is really difficult for me to get my thoughts into words. I can be very creative and descriptive but I also don't do punctuation well nor do i know a lot of the bigger, more professional looking words. Art ones aren't always the best for me but even though I'm not as good as a good majority of the community, doing DTA art for art contests and challenging myself with them as caused me to improve quite a lot. I tend to enjoy gifs and picture ones kinda cause they are quick and easy and sometimes if you are busy and in the dumps you want a quick pick-me-up. It is always nice to have the possibility of being the one that wins.
