This is me, the name's Duff. Yeah, I might I look all "Dark and creep," and my name might mean "Dark," But I'm really not... Usually. There IS a good reason why I'm dressed like that though.
Well, it's pretty complicated. Hmm, where to start? I guess the beginning is a good place!
When I was a child, I was outside playing with whom were my friends, Dillon and Alicia. We were playing tag when I tripped and bashed right into a tree! My eyes got infected and I had to go into eye surgery (Woohoo, surgery where they cant make you sleep and you cant blink! What a blast it was!).
Slowly my eyesight faded from surgery to surgery, until I couldn't see at all.
I wear all black clothes because its easier not to make an outfit look absolutely horrible, black is black, and it goes with black. Plus I used to like it.
You may ask, "How in the world can she be writing if she's blind?!" That's also sort of complex.
When I was first "Disable-alized," my dad was soooo convinced that I should go to a School for the Blind. But seriously? I can't leave the school I was at, it would totally start a commotion, and people will all be like, "Oh my gosh, she's blind? Let's totally avoid her!" Even though they have no reason to, I'm just different, unique, special. All of that cheap stuff :p
I begged and pleaded with dad to let me stay in public school, and that I could quickly get along and learn to live with the common folk, secretly being very different.
My dad eventually said
Duff, I'll tell you what. If you can get along for two weeks in your current school, I'll let you stay there until you have problems with it.
YES! 'Twas a miracle!
Of course, I had plenty of time to recover before I had to go back to school. Two or three months, minimum! So I practiced learning to walk without my eyes, a stick, or a dog. Very quickly I picked up on how to click my tongue or something and listen to the sound waves. Like a bat :p I can't believe I did it so easily!
After the few months, I didn't tell a soul my secret.
I also learned to feel my page as I write to tell what I've written/people have written. THAT's how I can write!
A little bit more about me, real quick!
I'm far from emo. I'm not saying that emo is bad, it's just not what I am. It's like if someone said to you, "Are you a dog lover?" And you said "Nope, I'm a cat fan!" You wouldn't be insulting dog lovers, you're just not one. Besides, who sets these trends anywho? WHY MUST BLACK BE A NEGATIVE COLOR?!

I have a crush on this one boy at school.... I used to... But I adore his personality!
I asked dad for some pictures of him from the school website.
My dad's first reaction:
Why is he holding a cannoli?
My reaction:
Because he's awesome that way!
Oh, yes. I cannot forget a picture of my dad.
It took awhile for him to find one, but here we are!
He's nice, but likes to tease me a lot, most likely because he's bored often. :p
