"We can go ahead and talk. Firepaw and I can gather herbs afterwards," Swanheart said, purring quietly.

Shadowtail gazed up, hearing Sandclaw talking to her. "Sure, Sandclaw, that sounds good," she said, realizing she hadn't ate yet.

Swiftstar
She purred. " Okay, thank you Swanheart. Let's go to my den." she mewed, padding out of the medicine cat den and into her den for some more privacy. There were vines hanging over the entrance. She liked it that way. Swiftstar sat down, wrapping her silver tabby tail over her white paws. " You see... I've been having these dreams from the cat who formed StormClan. Stormstar. He's been warning me..." she trailed off, thinking of what to say. How to explain it.

Sandclaw
He motioned Shadowtail over. " The fresh kill piles pretty low. I was thinking of asking Snowfire if I could join the hunting patrol this morning. What about you?" he asked between bites of the delicious vole that they were sharing.

Mallowstep stretched out on the tree branch, letting her claws sink gracefully into the bark before leaping down to meet a field mouse that didn't know what was coming. Soon, she triumphantly carried the plump mouse back to camp, thin tail held high in the air. (open)

He followed Swiftstar into her den, wondering what she had to tell him. He sat down, carefully listening to every word she said. "Stormstar's been warning you of what?" He asked, his eyes wide as he leaned forward, very interested in what she had to say.

Her eyes wandered over to the fresh-kill pile, realizing that there wasn't much prey left. "You're right, it's getting pretty low," she said then added, "I wouldn't mind going on patrol. I'll ask Snowfire too."

Twistedfoot | 60 moons | tom | elder
The tom had been sitting outside the elder's den when he noticed Mallowstep returning from her hunt. "That's a very good catch," he said, impressed.

She proceeded on talking to Swanheart. " Well... He's been saying something like this, 'The clan I once ruled, the clan I love, I fear is about to perish.'" she mewed.

Sandclaw
He nodded, taking a bite of the tasty vole. " Yeah, and Leaf-bare is just around the corner. It seems like yesterday was only Green-leaf." he mewed to Shadowtail.

His eyes grew even wider, "P-perish?! Stormstar said the clan would perish?!"

"I know," she said with a soft sigh, "seems like time passes so quick around here. Feels like just yesterday I joined the clan even though it was a long time ago. I just hope we'll have enough prey when leaf-bare comes around."

She nodded with a worried expression plastered on her silver tabby face. " Well... He said he fears. There's a chance that it won't... I think there's going to be an evil prophecy. Maybe..."

Sandclaw
" Yeah, I totally agree with you. Life goes by too fast." he purrs. " I'm going to try to not miss a single catch this leaf bare. But of course, I'm not perfect. So I will. "

"He fears?" He asked, trying to calm himself back down. "So, there's possibly a chance that the clan will be okay? Did Stormstar say anything else?"

"We'll just have to do the best we can with the prey and hope for the best," she said, purring back.

He sat in camp, feeling ignored. No one had answered him when he had talked. He sighed. Thinking won't do anything about it.He got up and padded into the medicine cats den, to sort through herbs.

Mallowstep trotted into camp with her prey in her jaws. Carefully, she tossed the field mouse on top of the fresh kill pile. There was a decent amount of prey there already and she eyes it over carefully before choosing a water vole. probably from near the river... she thought. Grasping it in her small jaws and taking it to the side of the hollow to eat.

She nods worriedly. " I- I, can't really remember.... " she confessed.

He nodded. " So... What do you want to talk about?" he asked trying to start an interesting conversation.
