As the water came into contact with him there was a large steam cloud like before. "Ow..." He whimpered, pulling his shirt off and tossing it onto the ground. On his back, arm, and chest there were fresh burns on his skin. The water stung at first but then became very soothing. "Thank you Clara..." Jace panted and laid down in the burned grass.

"Yikes. Didja bring bandages, too? Want me to fetch the spare clothes?" Finny murmured, looking up at Jace.

"I see." He leaned back in his chair. "Do you like it here?"

Clara //
She collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily. Clara's head spun and her vision flickered. "Uhhhh..." she groaned. "That didn't go as planned." She rolled over on her back and glanced at Jace. "You okay?"

Jace wiped water from his rosy face and he nodded, " that would be amazing." Clara's fall caught his eye and he was immediately concerned. "I'm just peachy." He answered with a grin and ran his fingers through his hair. "How about you? Are you okay?"

Felix nodded. "It's nice. I'd like travelling, though."

Finny nodded and sprang up, heading for the car at a run. After a few minutes of shuffling in the car, She dashed back carrying the clothes. "Here!"

Clara //
She groaned and got to her feet. "Yeah, I'm alright. I definitely need more practice, though." Clara ran her hands through her hair shakily. "I don't usually have such a bad reaction," she apologized. "Although, I don't usually try stunts like that."

"You two are an accident waiting to happen, you know. At least I have some control over mine." Finny wandered over to Clara. "Steady. Don't fall, I can't catch you."

"Aight that the truth." Jace huffed at Finny's observation and sat upright. "You're lucky you do." He got up from the ground and slowly approached the two of them to retrieve his clothes. "Thanks" he thanked Finny and took the clothes into his own hands.

Finny nodded. "You two are both okay, right? Y'don't need anything else? I feel like I'm just going to ultimately end up as that friend who is acts like the mom. 'No, Jace, don't burn down buildings without your sweater!' 'Clara, you forgot your lunch!'"

She laughed. "Probably. I'm fine, though, thanks." Clara sighed, swinging her arms. "So, what now?"
