i gasped, not even taking the loud thumps in the background seriously before a large force struck into me. i looked up in surprise, hoping it was a cat i could trust- or knew. i stumbled back, looking up with a blurry vision. armadillotumble? i shook my head and got up, hearing the poor medicine cat weep before muttering something. "armadillotumble?-...! what's wrong? what'd you mean you stuffed up?"

Mintpaw flicked her tail and shrugged "Never got the chance to ask... My mentor shooed me away before I had time to." the young cat responded as she wrinkled her nose and twitched her whiskers awkwardly. "But I do know... That he belives the late deputy ceremony was a bad omen, I belive it might be too.... But we haven't worked it out yet." she added briefly but darkly half-to meadowlark half to herself, she shook her head clear an turned her full attention back to Meadowlark. "anyways... I hope your joints feel better soon! If the pain dosnt clear up within the next few days, come back and see me." she meowed.

Her name is Sagestep. She was named after her mother, Sageflower. Her mother looked identical towards her, while her littermates looked way different. They looked like her father, who was a rogue. Yes, she has rogue in her blood. But she's proud of it. Infact, she was born a rogue. Her mother had a warrior name because she was originally from SunClan, but left to join her mate as a rogue. Her mother taught her everything she had learned, and she always wanted Sagestep to join SunClan. Sagestep promised that she would join them while her mother was dying from an infectious rat bite. She prepared to leave, saying good bye to her father and two littermates. She found SunClan on a cold winter night in the middle of Leaf-bare. She slept just outside camp by a bush, freezing from the snow. The next morning, the dawn patrol spotted her. They welcomed her back to camp and gave her fresh kill. She told them her miserable life story, and how she had promised to join the clan. So of course, they welcomed her in. Sagestep was a little cautious at first, and didn't really trust anyone. She was assigned a mentor, but she already knew the basics of clan life because her mother had taught her. So, she was instantly given her warrior name. It was requested from herself. She wanted to have the memory of her mother forever... And now she would. For many moons to come...

How did she become a queen, you ask? While, she was on a hunting patrol, and ran into a rogue. It was true love at first sight, she didn't even ask what he was doing on their territory. Nope. Instead, she got into a conversation with him. They agreed to meet the next night. Eventually, they became mates and she was expecting kits. She was so bad at him for leading her to this, and left him to be. Now, Sagestep hopes she never sees him again. No cat knows who the father is, and she wants to keep it that way.

Sagestep is very quiet around others she doesn't know, and can be a little shy. But once you get to know her, she can talk non stop and even be a little obnoxious. When you're in a bad mood, she can almost always cheer you up. Although, she does know that sometimes cats want to be left around, and she respects that. Sagestep is very wise and always thinks before she takes action. She's not very good at socializing, and tries to only talk to cats who talk to her. She's really good at fighting and hunting squirrels though. You'll learn to love her.

Krestlenose smiled, "That sounds great, I know many of the apprentice's would love to compete." The tom replied, taking a large bite of the fish. He looked at the others, wondering what their opinions about the idea would be.

Tinypaw squeaked in surprise. After being woken up he blinked his eyes open, the light of the moon shining brightly in them. "What..?" He mumbled as he wiped some moss from his muzzle. Tinypaw would be shocked to know that he'd be helping the older apprentice with his assessment. Meanwhile, Flickergaze awoke from her sleep. The shecat glanced around the warrior's den. "Anyone awake?" She mewed, hoping some one would join her to give Rainpaw his assessment.

{{Hi Waffle!!! We're only taking Emberclan cats if you also make a Sunclan cat, so you can either switch her clan or make a second cat ^^ Other than that her form looks awesome and otherwise ready to be accepted. I love the detailed story. She's not training in the dark forest, right?

Hey marauders! not a problem, I know how it is, I went through it last year. Most of the general updates are in the news section and I also made a territories section. For your characters, pipitpaw went back to camp with the others and they are eating together before bed and planning the competition Redstar wants to have for the clan to build teamwork skills and help everyone forget about Flameheart's death. Shorestar was talking to Ravenclaw so he's still waiting for her where they left off, and ummmm I think thats all... I could be wrong though.


Also, for Snowpaw, I gave her Coldcry as a mentor, thought that would be interesting }}

Meadowlark

Meadowlark shuddered as she thought of the voice in her ear a couple of nights prior.
A dark Warrior in the night... Perhaps her ancestors were trying to tell her something about Armadillotumble. After all, he was always roaming about after dark. Could he have killed Flameheart? No, he was at the gathering with the others. Meadowlark shook her head. As she looked across the way of the camp, she narrowed her eyes. Once again, Armadillotumble wasn't anywhere to be seen. She stood and walked further into the den, heading towards the nest where patients usually slept, or where she stayed in the New-leaf when the Medicine cats had plenty of herb sorting and colds to treat. If Armadillotumble was up to something she wanted to be near to see it. She plunked down into the mossy nest and began to groom her fur.
"I think I'll stay here for the night," She told the apprentice. "Incase..." Her raspy mew trailed off.

Redstar

Redstar smiled as she ate and couldn't help to feel like she was doing something right for once. "A clan is only as strong as it's Warriors' ability to work together." She reminded them all. "I suggest you all begin choosing your partners. I will announce the idea at sunrise before the clan leaves for their duties."

Ravenclaw's tired eyes widened as he was explained the dream, and the prophecy. "A lake cat came to you?" He gasped, starting into a wobbly pace. "That can't be good, can it? That must mean it's serious," he pondered for a moment. "Beware the cats who seem to sleep." He froze, remembering the past night. Flickergaze and Fogslip had been awake the past night, when they were supposed to be sleeping. Infact, so was Armadillotumble of Emberclan and Littlefur, the Medicine cat. Could they be behind the mysterious scents and Flameheart's death? Perhaps he was over thinking the warning.

Tigerclaw

The ragged she-cat gathered her clump of plants and stood. Naturally, she rolled her eyes, but in truth it'd be a good idea. With most of the clan pretending she didn't exist so that they could avoid a grumpy confrontation with her each morning and the absence of an apprentice of her own, she had plenty of time to help Thinpelt and Littlefur with gathering herbs and stocking their stores. She padded after him and through the woods, back towards camp. Just as they neared the entrance, she froze, a peculiar scent passing through the leaves in her jaws and lingering in her nose.
"Do you smell that?" She meowed, her voice muffled. She set down the herbs, spatting at the taste of them on her tongue. The Warrior bent and sniffed at the forest floor, along a wall of bramble. She frowned, picking up the scent a bit stronger amongst the bushes. "Smells like Emberclan scum," She growled. How had they made it this far into the territory?

Tallstorm

Tallstorm had begun to close his eyes when something poked at his memory.
"Who's turn was it to guard the camp tonight..." He sat up, calling across the dimly lit den. His eyes stopped on Lichenfoot, squinting. "Get up, lazy furball. It's our turn to guard the entrance." The tom huffed, standing and stalking to the opening of the den to wait for her. He hissed sharply to wake her.

Rainpaw

Rainpaw dragged himself out into the clearing, his eyes adjusting to the darkness quickly. This would be interesting. He left Tinypaw to ready himself and bounded to the Warrior's den entrance. "Flickergaze? Flametooth?" he called out almost loud enough to wake half the others.

The tom nodded softly as he licked his pelt. "Dont be rude to emberclan, for we are all cats of starclan" The tom said with narrowed eyes as he shot a harsh look at the warrior. "Come now lets see what it wants" He said enhailing softly as he turned his head to where the scent was coming from. "Lead the way oh brave warrior" As he turned looking at Tigerclaw. Flicking his ears before softly grabbing the poppy seeds and looking at the adder trees softly. "They should be good" He said softly before turning to look at the warrior.

Littlepaw

The young cat slowly placed her paw in the water as she moved, backing up as she looked down into the water attempting to not have her shadow. Flicking her ears as she watched as a few smaller fish swam by before seeing as he quickly swam away with its tail flopping. She shook her head as she moved softly before quickly picking up her paw again as she waited. After a few minuets she slashed her paw into the water quickly picking up a small fish and snapping her jaws around the fish with her tail flicking happily.

The she cat nodded softly looking at Tumblebrush, "Yes things need to be done" She said before nuzzling one of his ears kindly. "If you need to talk or anything, Just call" The queen said softly as she pulled a wad of moss out of the nursery clumping it together and then pushing it out of the den before turning back to collect more of the moss. The queen flicked her tail yet again before picking up the gross moss as quickened her pace as she exited the camp heading to where she could collect small amounts of moss.

The warrior moved his head as he sniffed the ground. inhaling softly as he looked around dropping into a crouch. His ears flicked softly, as he moved sniffing the air before blinking softly as he slowly moved looking as a mouse slowly moved across the bushes. Slowly jumping as he pounced on the mouse before quickly killing it with a bite to the neck before slowly eating the mouse.

When the tom herd his name his eyes opened picking up from his prey. "Yes rainpaw?" The tom looked up with his bright eyes landing on the apprentice. "What do you need" He said standing up as he stretched out his paws and yawning. Shaking his head as he slowly walked closer to the apprentice and slowly licking his mew. "Speak i don't have all day" He said softly with narrowed eyes.

The young she cat sighed softly as she blinked a few times before slowly sniffing the ground. She was asleep and she thought she was dreaming of hunting. Blinking a few times as she looked around before licking her muzzle as she stepped into the forest she was dreaming of. Blinking again as she flicked his ears before shivering as a extremely cold puff of air hit her fur as she moved into a darker part of the forest. "What is this place?" She asked herself looking around before arching her back as she saw cats.
