The femme nodded to Flame as the smaller wolf joined her side, then turned her attention to the camp's direction once more and threw her weight forward to get moving. It wasn't long before she had both of her feathered wings out stretched in a gliding motion, sailing on the cool evening breeze that also ruffled her pale golden fur. Flame had helped a lot today, but there was still a burning shame in the Beta's stomach about convincing a child to help her when Death wouldn't. In her own mind, she felt it made her seem desperate, lazy, and irresponsible, though the femme was unsure what Flame thought. Oh we'll, She thought as the camp's mountainside cave drew nearer and she slowed to make a decent. It's over now. Flame is returning to her parents and I to my solitary business. Unless she wants to, Flame will not help me again. Four paws lightly touched down on the rocky cave floor and two gold-tipped wings folded across the Beta's back as her voice echoed off the walls. "Alpha Snow?" There was much to discuss with her leader, like the recent border developments and her encounter with the human trap. However, for the sake of making amends with the wolf that may have saved her life by freeing her from said trap, she might not mention Death abandoning his duties as Beta Male when she gave her report. Besides; he'd have a pawful to deal with when Flash chewed him out later for not doing his job. He didn't need Snow to also get on his case about it. Her silver gaze scanned the area for any wolves she wanted to see, such as her Alpha or Flame's parents.

{From what's happened since you last posted, Flash got Flame's help to mark the borders after Death rightfully called her rude and left her to do the job alone, and is now returning back to camp and calling out to Snow while Flame runs to her parents to tell them about it. I think Snow is with her mate and Winter came to talk to her before Flash arrived.}

Snow:
Snow thought it over wondering if she should tell the pup the truth she figured he would find out someday and it was best of she didn't lie to him. Winter well we don't know who your parent's are we found you when you were very young alone in the Snow and let you into the pack. I'm sorry I don't have the answers Snow said nuzzling the pup to comfort him some.

Death:
Death got out of the lake and shook the water off his jet black coat he looked around and decided to take a walk today just wasn't a good day for him it seemed.

Winter gazed at her with wonder as she explained what she knew. Hearing the truth, his ears drooped a little and his gaze lowered to the ground, looking crestfallen. "Oh," he simply muttered, though Snow's warm nuzzle did cheer him up some. After a short pause, he looked back up and shrugged his shoulders indifferently. "Oh well. I never knew them anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter. Besides, I've got you guys, right?" His tail gave a half-hearted wag, though his deep blue eyes still seemed to wonder deeper about the subject than he cared to let on. "You're my family "

Flash perked her ears and furrowed her brows, hearing the voices of Snow and Winter from deeper within the cave. Should she intrude? Winter was only a pup; she doubted he had anything to say that would be more important than a Beta's border report. However, what if he did? What if he was sharing something personal that she shouldn't walk in on? After a few more seconds of debating, she silenced her doubts and forced her pawa forward. Oh come on, this is your job. She needs to hear about that human trap, regardless of whatever she and Winter are talking about. Her eyes soon adjusted to the dim light and she could easily make out Snow's pure white fur in the shadowy darkness, though Winter was a little harder to spot. "Alpha Snow." She dipped her head in respectful greeting. "I have returned from marking our new borders and have some news to report."
