About this Species

Alpine Draft horses (ADH) originally come from strong lines of breeding between Spotted drafts and Percherons in the cold Alpine Mountains in Europe, over the years the breed became mixed with weaker lines of Friesian horses and hints of Appaloosa until they came in all Appy, Pinto, and Pintaloosa patterns, along with all light and dark bases a horse could have.

Characteristics

They have the hardy body of the Percheron with a naturally cropped tail, the sleek wavy hair of the Friesian Horse and the color characteristics of Spotted Drafts along with the tall stature with heights reaching as high as 18.3hh, they typically have less mane growth like an appy

They can be found in virtually any horse color possible but despite the fact that they are often broken in color, they tend to not posses blue eyes, the gene mutation that causes typical blue eyes is very hard to come by, and so they are normally decorated in all sorta of shades of brown

The Mares are typically smaller in height than the Stallions how ever they are normally born with thinner legs to help with the fact that they can actually run way faster than stallions
Mares height:
Low- 15.3 hh
High- 17.2 hh

Stallions are stronger and bolder, they can also be really aggressive
Stallions height:
Low- 16.1 hh
High- 18.3 hh

Adoption

premades are free, adoption only requires proper filling out of the forms provided
However customs require payment and so do breedings

Customs:
Customs with mutations vary in price depending the mutation go HERE for mutation examples and prices
Ones without mutations cost a rare and an uncommon or three wishlist pets
Half customs cost 2 wishlist pets, in a half custom you get to decide the gender but the color is completely my choice, half customs are not likely to be mutated

A breeding can be paid by any of the following

-1 rare

Breeding

Breeding must be between a stallion and a mare
You must have permission from the owner of a ADH you don't own before breeding
There's no limit to how many breedings each mare/stallion can have
An ADH must be mature before they can breed :: An average ADH stallion matures at 3 mare mature at 4
Only 1 breeding per open session per user, so when the nursery opens you can only breed once
You may not ask for ANYTHING specific, the choice is completely mine
No inbreeding
There's no twins
Please post transfer form in the nursery
Transfers are free

this adopt currently is not on oekaki yet but I am attempting to transfer these lines in the future
I have a rather busy life so ATM I dont have time nor a good computer to do so :3

I do have an app I my phone that I am using to draw these for now to keep you guys occupied until I get it up on oekaki, designs made prior to the oekaki line completion will NOT be transferred as the image codes are given to you and it would be time consuming.

mutation and design suggestions are always welcome please PM them to me ^^
as for mutations, please don't suggest lethal ones as I don't want to draw out any more lines! I already have to do the adult AND foal lines into oekaki!
