Lakota didn't hear the altercation with his alpha and the other wolves, instead headed out of camp away from the faint sounds of conflict. He growled low in his throat, a pair of eyes seared into his mind. Ever sience he'd last seen them, he'd drempt of them, and they wouldn't leave him alone. The thing was, she was teh Alphess of the other pack. The one his mother was Beta to. He felt like he'd betrayed her, didn't want to go back to that pack. He sighed, sitting down with a little thump, giving a frustrated howl.

As beta, it was Cori's job to protect her Alphess, even if that meant crossing pack territories. So, when she heard the fight, she immediately rushed for the Alphess' side, snarling back at Lucy, "Stay here. I'll be right back." It wasn't anything Lucy had done, she was sure she'd made that clear, but anxiety often struck the shewolf, and she defended her pack with the ferocity of a mother defending her cubs.

Katara eyes widened. "Shepherd..?" Katara whispered, nearly choking her words. She trotted over to him, she sniffed his injured leg. Nothing was broken, except pain. "Now its my turn to watch over you." Katara whispered, nuzzling his ear.

Lucy felt her cheeks started to tint red. She whimpered at him and climbed on top of him, pinning him down playfully. She let out a slight giggle and sat down slowly on his stomach. She looked him in the eye then looked at her stomach then at him again, hoping he would get the message.

Shepherd

Shepherd didn't know for how long he'd been passed out. When he woke up, he felt extremely dizzy and sick. He saw both of the black wolves bent over him, but he only focused on Katara. He moved his jaw to see if anything was broken, but luckily he had only gotten a couple of bruises. Shepherd then bent and stretched his legs, and felt a thundering pain when he did so.
He looked back over his shoulder and saw that he had been wounded.
"Th-the wound, is it bad?" He managed to stammer out in a fragile voice.
