I love it when it rains here, as I love rainstorms.

So, I guess the Dome would be located somewhere near the border of California and Arizona, or deeper into one of those states? (Or some other state if y'all have a good idea, of course).

Coolio. So that's why and where. What about how? Are they just going to tranquilize all the hybrids, including the domestics, and put them on a train, or airplane, or what? From Canada to California is a pretty long way.

If you guys want to know exactly what I was thinking in terms of biome for the new dome, watch the "Chelsea and Trev" episode of Mantracker- that's what I have in mind xD

I imagine that the dome hybrids will be sedated. Not quite sure about the domestics though. They'll have to stay out of sight of normal people, but I think that the scientists could use the help. And personally I think a train is the best way to go. They are good for transporting large amounts of stuff, like the scientists equipment, Grace's animals and all the hybrids.

Should we roleplay out the train ride, or at least part of it? The ride itself, on a freight train (as I doubt they would load all their equipment and hybrids into a public passenger train), would take between 30 and 40 hours. So a bit less than two days. They would have to either hook all the hybrids up to some sedative to keep them in a mindset rendering them incapable/unwilling to protest or act out, yet still able to eat and drink (which would be... Interesting, to say the least); have them completely unconscious the entire trip, though that would probably not be healthy for the hybrids; or have them completely conscious and aware of what's going on, but then capable of acting out (such as fighting the domestics or each other, or maybe possibly finding a way to jump off the train). I don't know about you guys, but I think it would be hilarious to have the hybrids all loopy and weird for a bit XD they also wouldn't remember the entire train ride if they were unconscious or all loopy, which would be good to completely disorient them so as to test their individual survival skills. One minute, they're all hanging out in the forest dome: the next thing they know, they've woken up in the middle of the desert with no one else around. But of course, it's up to y'all.

I really like all the ideas but can't contribute much. I live in Cali, but north central. So everything is different.

I am all for loopy train ride though.
For transporting domestics no clue why but I instantly thought to load them up in like horse carriers on trucks >.>

I sort of imagined that the dome hybrids would be caged or restrained some how in some train cars, and the domestics ride something like the lowest class or they have cots set up in a couple cars. The scientists would either travel separately or ride first class.

Oh, yeah, cages would be good. So freight train or passenger train, then? A passenger train travels about 17% faster than a freight train, going at 59 miles/hour. But then, would they want to risk the hybrids being seen if they took a passenger train?

I know it's not desert but if we go with the swapping randomly.
Northern Central America.
I'm not good with state names but the ones that are all corn and demons and crazy Christians.
We could say something like the dust bowl happened making those areas useless for farming so everyone left.
From what I hear no one really lives there. And the rest of the U.S is convinced their insane so stories of animal human children would be played off like the Alien thing.


But with a big enough dome finding all the types of biomes could be possible. Again, future.
And it will need to be bigger, food is scared and hard to catch. And scientist probably won't bother to put in food sources.
After all from what I've gathered this is a test to see who can adapt best.

But what about a train similar to that described in stories during WWII, to bring people to concentration camps?

It would be cheap and if they didn't feed the hybrids, locked them in a small train compartment with no light packed compleatly.
They wouldn't be able to sleep, and hunger would controle their mind probably, plus drugs? Weak hybrids would die off and narrow down the numbers.

Pulse it's just the inhuman type of thing the scientist would do >.>
