The dome can be a combination of all the deserts if we want. There can be a sand duney area, a chaparraly area, sagey area, saguaroy area, rocky area, you know a mixture of everything. It's the future so it could be possible.

Yes I like that ^-^ the dome will be big enough for that too ć:
We will just have to establish where the certain dessert is located

Sure. I think we are aiming for the Southwest US, but you know, somewhere deep in the desert where tourists and such won't find them. Also, being futuristic and all, it's possible that the number of people living or visiting the area has dwindled.

Due to global warming, America's deserts have become too inhospitable for your average tourist. Hybrids, however, are able to withstand the intense heat, freezing nights, torrential rain, flash floods, dangerous wildlife, and daily extreme temperature changes.

I'm from Southern California, and I love the desert XD I want to live in Arizona, it's so pretty over there.

Not Arizona-related, but desert-related, I've always really wanted to go camping in Death Valley-- or live in Death Valley!

*clears throat* Anyway, I agree with Metronome. The desert isn't just burning sun and blood-squirting lizards.

In many arid areas, it can snow, and the desert's rock formations across the Southwest can be absolutely stunning. Especially slot canyons.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying there can't be oasis areas, or just plain dry desert. It definitely rains in the desert, especially in the Southwest. When I visited Death Valley, they were always talking about flash floods.

Yeah, flash floods are a major problem in the desert, as it doesn't usually rain, but when it does, it rains. I'm talking full-on thunderstorms. And the desert sand isn't used to absorbing so much water in so little time, causing it to accumulate at the surface and rush down dry riverbeds and gullies.
