Lyra

Lyra cast a last smile over her shoulder at her friend Dean as they parted ways. Her classroom wasn't too far away, so the silver haired girl took her time looking at a few projects and photos hanging on the walls. She smiled at the memories some of them held, imagining herself in those situations like most children, going to school, playing with friends... Life in the countryside, isolated from the rest of the world, had been rather lonely. Although she loved her parents, they were only so amusing for a teenage girl.

The steel blue eyed shifter made it to her classroom where she sat in the back, too shy and nervous to approach anyone else. Pulling out her binder as the teacher walked in and began class, she couldn't help but have her thoughts wander to what that red light had meant. Lyra found that she had spent an awful lot of time thinking about Dean since she arrived at the academy. Well... he was her first friend, so it was natural, right? Shaking her head a bit to herself, Lyra returned her attention to reality and took notes while the teacher lectured.

Nurse Vanneste

"No problem, darling," Nurse Vanneste smiled as she watched Singe adjust to her injury. "Of course, hurry on to class, then! Let me know if the pain persists. I'll fix a more potent mixture then." Waving at the student, Nurse Vanneste cleaned up her things, not forgetting to change the paper covering the examination table for the next ill student. It was a rather slow day for the blonde. Not many students had injuries on the first day anyway. Later in the school year when fights would break out as well as sicknesses was the young nurse's time to shine. Humming a little tune to herself, Ms. V returned to her desk, flipping around on her clipboard before taking note of the amount of herbs she had used from her stores. Eventually, her garden would be in full bloom, and supplies wouldn't be as limited. The nurse had become accustomed to the amount of plants she would have to grow in order to be fully prepared for when the garden needed nurturing. According to her lists, she was good for now. The blonde sat back with a small sigh, glancing out the window at two birds chattering with each other

Singe: Open, just approach if you want to interact.

Singe gently closed the door behind herself and proceeded to limp back to the locker room. The pain in her foot was beginning to ease thanks to the herbs that Nurse V. had given to her. However, the foot was still swollen and made it a bit tough for Singe to walk, or in this case hobble. Sighing as she reached the female locker room, Singe grabbed her change of clothes and freshened up a bit before shoving everything into her bag and rushing out the door. Singe wanted to be out of the locker room before another class came in. Sticking to the side of the halls, she lumbered along until she saw a door that led outside. Her next class wasn't for a bit, might as well go check on Slate. Heading out into a small outdoor area, she gave a whistle that was soon answered by a screech.

Silver: Open

Arching his back, Silver slowly worked his way from his seat. Taking care when handling his books, he shouldered his back and waved goodbye to Igneous. Now it was off to his next class, biology. This was a class that Silver would actually do well in considering his background. Taking his seat towards the front left, he pulled out the needed supplies and got ready to endure round two in the school day. Oh the fun of note taking...

Iggy: Open

Igneous took his time weaving through the busy hallways. He was always on alert whenever he took his violin with him. Upon seeing the sign above the music room, he entered and looked around to see a few other students prepping their instruments. A gentle smile came to play upon his pale face as he took a seat on opened the violin case. Iggy just knew this was going to be one of his favorite classes.

Dean's head nodded as they opened the doors, Closing them behind themselves with a small creaking noise while they touched. '' This way.. '' His father said with a small smile but then it faded. They looked to the side and then Dean noticed a few of the other guards standing there. Dressed in there black attire, Guns held low. Dean's face became stern like a parent's as they then listened to the Head Master. Halo . '' Now.. We had a few students standing infront of the school a few hours ago, From across town. '' A few of the men nodded. '' I noticed they took notes, And then left. But we all know that the students don't like our school. Because we aren't all..Human. I need you to keep an eye on the building like usual but escpecially these next few days. '' His hand fell onto Dean's shoulder pad. His eyes shifting to his. '' You need to change. '' His expression was stern as well but with a faint smile. This would be the first time Dean wore his uniform. '' Yes sir. '' Dean muttered as he turned, Headed around the building so he could enter from the boy's dorm door. Briefly his eyes flickered over his mother who was walking from the library and across the grass towards the parking lot on the otherside of the school.

( Excitement, Yay! Sorry guys, reall ife has been a bit rough and busy lately. But i almost forgot about chickensmoothie. But im back now! Lets get things going ! Can't wait for those students to appear. )

All the while during class, Lyra found it hard to concentrate on the teacher's words. Her mind kept drifting back to her earlier encounter with Dean, and she hoped everything was alright. More importantly, she hoped her first friend was okay. He didn't seem like he was heading to class like the others, and that worried her. Her natural instinct was to protect. Ignorant of what was happening and stuck in class, she felt quite useless. Giving a heavy sigh, the silver-haired girl turned back to her notes and pleaded for time to pass faster.

Edgar

Eyes closed as he leaned back against the tree trunk, Edgar sat perched in the fork of two tree branches, enjoying the nice weather. Unlike the rest of his race who preferred the night, the male vampire had no problem with the daylight. It was the time of life and happiness. He was glad that his habits similar to the other students rather than another vampire allowed him to blend in better. The black-haired male snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of a sharp whistle and a shrill call following moments afterwards. Silvery eyes snapping open, the male looked down to notice Singe summoning her feathered companion Slate. Scooting over to sit only on one of the branches, Edgar waved down calmly at the young woman and greeted her in his gentle tone, "Hello, Singe. Enjoying the weather?" A small smile graced his lips but disappeared shortly afterwards.

Dean's hand pulled the door open, letting it close behind him but a slim male slipped in and ran passed him. He let out a small amused huff and a smile. Assuming the boy was late for class. With the radio in his helmet still, Dean unlocked his dorm and began to sit things down once inside. His foot kicked the door shut from behind as he listened to the quiet mutter from the radio he pulled out and began to sit on the bed. Then his eyes shifted to his closet. As it opened he revealed a rather large trunk while he began to change into his uniform. Every now and then his mind would slip to Lyra probably sitting in class somewhere.

Singe was a bit surprised at the sudden greeting from Edgar. She let out a small gasp before managing to pin-point his location. "Hello Edgar, didn't expect to see anyone out here. The weather is nice today although never hurts to have a scarf on still." She fiddled with the scarf that lazily hung from her neck. Singe did manage to see Edgar's small smile and this caused her to blush a bit. Thus is why, she tried to look up at the sky rather then at him.

Slate came into a lazy circle above Singe before he turned off to continue with his hunting.

((Gah. I am sorry for being gone so long. School, anime conventions, future. It all gets put together and it is one big time eater! Anyway, I am back and hopefully this RP is still alive and kicking. Hope you guys are doing alright as well.))
