Ashwing-18 Moons-Cliffclan-Crush: Foxfeather

Ashwing nodded at his leader's words. He wouldn't be going on the search for a kittypet, it was ridiculous. But this clan seemed to want cruel, strong warriors, and that was not who he was. Not yet. He wasn't trained to be brutal. If they wanted to hunt a kittypet down and ask him to join the, then fine. But knowing this clan, if he said no, he'd be torn to shreds. And he wouldn't be part of that. He padded out of camp, intent on hunting. Before he knew it, he had wondered near the Streamclan border. He sat down by the streams bank. He would wait here for a bit, then go back to camp to see how it had turned out.

Bright paw sat on the outskirts of the camps clearing, watching several cats get ready for the kittypet hunt. She wondered over, speaking to Wolfshine. Can I go with you? I want to help hunt down the kittypet too.

Foxfeather shifted her eyes up from the stream in front of her to the warrior behind her, a rather bored expression on her face. She just sat there and stared at him for a few moments, trying to figure out what she'd respond with. She could either be nice and just give in and do it, or she could say no and watch him walk away. She didn't really mind which happened, which was why she was taking so long to choose. Sighing to herself, she then finally answered with "fine". Standing, she waited for him to start walking or something.

Cloverstar sighed to herself as she watched Swiftpaw darted back to camp. She didn't enjoy punishing any cats, but she knew that she had to or else they would all feel like they could get away with anything, which was not okay. Shaking her head, she turned and continued walking throughout the forest. She wasn't hunting, she was walking along the borderlines to make sure that she didn't scent any other clans in her territory.

Smokesong thought for a moment, then after a little bit she simply nodded and answered the first question with "I've been fine, thankyou". "How about you?" she asked him, finishing her question with a single nod of her head. Then she turned her head, "it's been good" she then answered, nodding her head once again after she finished speaking.

She walked along the border and scented Cliffclan. She saw Ashwing and went up to the border "What are you doing this close to the border?" She wasn't rude or scolding, she was genuinely curious. She smiled a little in spite of herself. She waited for his answer and caught a fish. she threw it up on the bank.

Ashwing watched in awe as the shecat swatted a fish out of the water and onto the shore. He shook his head after a momwnt and groomed his paw. Nothing, really. I apologize if I'm being a bother. I'm just getting away from the clan for a bit. I was out hunting, but decided to stop by the stream. There's usually plenty of stuff on our side. He purred at this cat. She wasn't being rude, although she seemed to be a rather high rank. Thankfully, it didn't seem like she planned on reporting him for what some clans might call suspicious border activity. And I'm assuming you're patrolling or hunting as well?

Mudpaw's head shot up and then he lowered it quickly again when he saw Echopaw padding up which only recieved a playful jab in the side by Dovekit who looked at him with all to knowing eyes. It was crazy how that kit knew him so much. When she opened her mouth to say something he brought his paw over her face gently, "Play it cool, twerp."

"See what I mean?" Dovekit mewed, sliding under Echopaw and popping out the otherside as if it were a game.

The russet tom rolled his eyes and flicked her with his tail, "Try not to sound so disappointed. Besides, what were you doing that was so important, eh?" He padded away just a couple pawsteps before turning his neck and pausing a bit to wait for the she-cat. True, his eye had been on her for a while now but he hadn't had the time to strike up any decent conversation. Perhaps that'd change during the hunt.

Silverpaw chuckled and shook her head before looking back at the apprentice who smelled of Cliffclan. She didn't know much about them but she remembered Duskshadow telling her that their leader was quite a piece of work... also that she should be careful around anyone from that clan. But this Ravenpaw didn't seem so bad. "Oh, that's fine. Don't tell anybody but I almost always accidentally find myself chasing a rabbit into your territory. It's a problem," she gave her paw a quick lick before looking back up at him mischievously, "But you owe me a rabbit. I almost had that one."

Foxfeather lowered her eyes, rather confused, as he flicked her with his tail, looking over at him. Most people took it as a clue that she was angered when she lowered her eyes, but it was actually just a habit of hers. Plus, she often liked to confuse or trick people by acting strangely or changing her emotions very quickly. "I wasn't doing anything" she muttered as she started padding after the tom, her tone rather neutral.

Fair point. He nodded. Not many cats came toward this part of the territory. It would sometimes flood during New Leaf (I think that's what its called, I can't remember) and tended to be a bit marshy every now and then. He sat down, his nerves calming a bit now knowing she wouldn't attack. Sometimes it was nice to just have a friendly chat with a neighboring clan. You were allowed to have friends in a different clan, after all. He huffed. He wanted so badly to vent, or to ease his troubles with his clan, but there was no way of doing so without giving vital information away. And that could be used against Cliffclan. Sweet cat or not, this she cat could tell all his secrets if she chose. I'm Ashwing, by the way.
