RockPaw nodded, "should I lead the way?" He asked, his eyes on his mentor and flicking to the entrance to the camp.



Skypaw
SkyPaw yawned and opened her eyes, seeing the practically empty apprentices den.
mousedoung! she thought. i have to stop sleeping in!
Skypaw shook the moss off her pelt and bounded quickly out of the den.
When she stepped out of the den, icy pain rushed through her.
She looked at her pad and she had stepped on a long thorn and it dug into her skin.
Skypaw limped torward the medicine cats den.
"Mistpool," she meowed. "I've gotton a thorn in my pad."

Tigerstrike thought about it and decide it'd help Rockpaw know the territory a little better. He nodded. "Be my guest." He replied.

He nodded again and lead the way through the entrance and towards the training hollow.
one day I'll be leading my own apprentice to the training hollow he thought, picking up a faster pace.

Tigerstrike needed only to take long strides to keep up with Rockpaw's jog and was happy to see the look in his apprentices eyes.

Rockpaw continued through the marshy forest until they reached the training hollow.
He licked off some mud on his pelt and sat down, waiting for his mentors instructions.

The tom drowsily slipped out of the warrior's den, and despite his blurry vision, he spotted his apprentice already awake. Without another thought, he padded up to his apprentice and slowly sat next to her. " So ready for training? We'll go brush up on the move yesterday and try it on another cat. "

Tigerstrike smiled down at his apprentice and sat across from him. "Ok. Imagine that you pinned down a enemy cat but two are coming up on both sides of you. First, leap onto the back if the one closest to you. Bite down hard on his back neck while digging your class into his back and scraping. The other one will rush in to help. At the instant stop and face the other one. Claw at his face repeatedly then leap off the other ones back and run off to the Marsh. They'll either run back home it follow you and end up in the deep Marsh." He said.

Mousepaw looked up as she heard the familiar voice of her mentor, Dovepool. She nodded once at his question and stood up. "Let's go." She simply said and made her way out of the camp without another word.
