"It's...I don't know. We're going to get lost. We're gonna drive into some weird ghost town with no idea how to go back. I'll starve to death. 'Jace, you must devour my flesh to live!' I'll cough with my last few breaths. Eventually, we'll both die before we realize we were ten feet from the library all along." Finny waved her hands. "Nah, I just have no clue where El Bibloteca is."

Jace couldn't hold back his laughter. "If that did happen, at least we would have me to keep us warm. And I could probably make a good meal out of you." He winked and parked his car on the side of the road. "Hmmm.... I'm pretty sure it's on this street somewhere."

"Jace, no! Yuck! That's disgusting, I'm sorry I even suggested the idea." Finny stuck out her tongue in distaste. "What now? D'we just walk and look for her? Wait on a street corner until she comes 'round?"

Jace smiled a toothy smile and assessed their surroundings. "Let's just walk around and look for her. Get our blood pumping a bit." He suggested, shaking out his legs. "I think the library was on this street. I haven't been there in a while so my memory is a little hazy."

Finny nodded and burst out of the car in an almost violent manner. "Okay." She smiled, placing her hands on her hips and rolling her arms in their sockets.

Jace exited the car and shut the door behind him. With a click of the key the vehicle was locked and he rounded the front of it to get a better view of Finny. "Let's go! Adventure!" He cheered childishly and tucked his hands into his pockets.

"Woo! Carpe Diem, Jace!" Finny's smile split into a grin and she raised her hands in the air for a brief moment before meandering over to Jace's side.

"Yeeeeees, Carpe Diem.....!" Jace repeated her words in a terrible attempt to mask the fact that he had no idea what she just said. He looked down at her with a half smile and his usual, big, innocent eyes.

"It means Seize The Day in Latin, you big goof." Finny suppressed a giggle, offering a light bump to Jace's shoulder. "A sort of life motto, you could say. It's a good one."
