Rin stiffened, "They turned on him"? She brought her legs up to hold them to her chest and rested her jaw on her knee.

Bear looked at her. "they didnt just turn on him. They and the entire kennel of vicious and brutalized war dogs turned on him. He was literally torn to shreds and devoured by Wolf, Lucien and twenty feral dogs. Of course Wolf and Lucien werent the ones doing the devouring, but they gave the command."

Rin suddenly felt sick, "He got what was deserved of him". Rin peaked at Wolf from the corner of her eye with weary concern, "I trust Wolf, but what's stopping him from doing that again"?

Bear nodded. "That he did." His eyes softened ever so slightly. "As far as I know he doesnt have that kind of hatred for anyone else. That happened after years of torture, and their father taking it one step too far by beating Nick to point he was one foot in the grave. That and the fact that it was Lucien that started it. Their father was going after Wolf when Lucien attacked to defend."

Rin scowled slightly, "Men like that make my blood boil. You don't torture a child, especially your own". She could feel a sharp cold on her chest and she clutched the pouch around her neck until it subsided.

Bear half laughed. "Remind me never to go into detail about what the guilds do... Even if thats only half as bad as what I just told you." He silenced and looked back at the guards who were now advancing in a threatening manner towards the group.

Pallon dismounted and stood in their way with all the ferocity he posessed.

Wolf snarled almost matching Deggers deep throated Growl.

Rin dismounted Balon and crept her way up behind the two in front, listening and watching for what would happen next, and staying out of sight. She gripped her dagger harder by the second.

The lead sneered at Pallon. "Out of my way w****! You dont frighten-"

Pallon glanced back to Tovheir as the man started speaking, getting the nod of approval he cut the man off by grabbed the guard by the throat and throwing him to the ground with enough force that he could have killed him if he wanted to.

Wolf shot off Arcane and halted not a few feet away looking more feral than he ever had before. He only waited to see what the others did before picking his victim.

Bear walked calmly towards the front after dismounting. "You guys are idiots to think that was a good idea."

Rin joined the others in front as she seized up the guards. She stood defiantly with a wicked grin on her lips, but didn't say a word.

The other guards stood in shock for a moment before reaching for their weapons with various curses and insults.

The one Pallon had thrown to the ground gasped for air and struggled against Pallons grip as he was lifted off the ground and thrown into his men.

Pallon snarled at them. "Stand down, or die!"

The two guards that were smart enough to back down earlier moved to stand with the group. They drew back arrows in their bows and aimed at their corrupted brothers.

Bear pulled two daggers and twirled them in his fingers as he watched the guards.

Wolf moved forward in a crouch and growled at them.

Degger rushed forward to stand near the front snarling.

Nianna and Taivil now stood side by side with their weapons in hand and deadly light flashing in their eyes.
