Day Two
Stormbird say adjacent to the lake early in the morning the next day, just thinking over the sorrow filled events of yesterday. Without warning the killer appeared and smiled at her. "Nice day, huh?" They asked.

She smiled in response, however troubled.

"To have a swim," out of nowhere she was plunged under the water and held down, her cries garbled and unhurd as she died.

this marks our second kill!
Will this be the last kill, Thunderclan?

Phoenixlight padded to the lake, eager for a drink of the cool water. She'd been out hunting since she woke up early that morning, and had decided it was time for a little rest. As the slim red tabby lapped at the water, she saw movement in the corner of her eye. She pricked her ears, assuming it was one of her Clanmates here for a drink as well. Indeed it was her Clanmate, but they were not taking a drink. Stormbird was floating in the water, stiff. Phoenixlight's blood went cold, and she nearly choked on the water in her mouth. The warrior spit it out and turned tail, sprinting back to camp as fast as she could. When she finally made it, she told her Clan, in a mixture of a shout and a cry, "We were wrong about Silvermist! It wasn't her!"

Foxlily had been troubled, unsure that their loyal deputy had been the killer, when Phoenixlight burst into the camp. She rose from her postition by the warriors den, where she had been grooming herself. "Is another cat dead?" she asked, sorrow in her mew, as the she-cat proclaimed that they were wrong about Silvermist. Please, no. Please tell me nobody is dead. She glanced around the clearing, taking account of any cats she could see. Too many were gone - any of them could have been murdered.

ShadeSpots was in the nursery, she craned her neck, she got up and padded over. She looked around, a questioning look on her face.

Darkclaw was not in camp, he was hunting. Eventually coming back with a squirrel and a vole, he saw frightened cats. "W-what happened?"

Maplekit woke to the sound of a cat yelling. She jumped awake, and slowly poked her head out of her nest. "Sh-Shadespots? Wh-what happened?" the kit asked softly. "D-did another c-clanmate die?" she whimpered.

[Moorray]

"Oh, c'mon Maplekit! We took rid of that filthy murderer!" Amberkit said in a triumphant voice. Before coming out of the den. He then saw the faces of all of the clanmates, like they were mourning. "Didn't we?"
