So, I've come to a decision based on all the feedback. I've decided to go ahead with the partial move to Deviantart. That means things will remain closed here until I get the est sorted out. (I apologize for the lack of attention to the Easter event - I got unexpectedly busy with work. With this move comes a variety of changes, which I will absolutely accept critique on. Here are kind of the basics.
+ Slot limits will be removed. If you have paid for slots previously, you will be offered a MYO Sima slot to create one of your own. No limits (Only Custom jewels will not be allowed). You must show proof of purchase before being given this MYO slot.
+ Nursery will remain free. The basic breeding will remain free to everybody, both on DA or otherwise. There will be breeding enhancements offered by the nursery artists, but the basic randomly rolled breeding is free. Enhancements will never go about 100 points/$1
+ Free adopts will also remain a thing - 1 free adopt for every paid adopt. I suggest not complaining about "they give us less desirable designs for free and only work hard on the paid ones). That is considered rude and will not be tolerated. You cannot always be so certain that they don't work hard on the designs they post for free or paid. You don't have to like every design, but you also don't need to be so critical.
+ Paid adopts will never be auctions - only flat sales. They will never go about $10/1000 points. In the future this may change, but for now there will never be anything over that.
+ MYO slots - MYO slots may be sold from time to time. These will have a set rarity, st number of traits, and will rarely, if not ever, include custom jewels or anything of that sort. They will never be over 500 points/$5.
+ Sima trading - Trading will be allowed but with restrictions - you may only trade two simas per month. You may NOT trade a sima you have owned for less than a month. Simas NOT adopted with currency (DA points/$$) may not by sold - only traded. Art is a separate transaction for this, so that you may discuss with your trading partner.
+ Staff - Staff are allowed to do as they please with the new setup - you may sell adopts or only do them for free. It is YOUR choice. All current artists are now promoted to general artists - you may do both breedings AND normal adopts. Staff are still not allowed to do breedings for themselves.
+ Past Sima event types - there are now able to be "bred" throughout the year. Their edits are classified as very rare, however, so they should not appear frequently.
+ Names may be taken by multipple simas now. A.K.A, two simas can be named the same. It may be considerate to speak with someone who owns a certain name but from now on you are allowed to use any name you please. There are SO many simas that its just becoming impossible to find unique names for every single one of them.
I've covered most of the changes. I LOVE feedback, so please do comment on what you like/don't like. Do not comment on the move - I want your ideas on the changes itself
