She rested her head on his shoulder, purring and licking his cheek.

Oneclaw licked the top of her head. "Littlewing, you are the deputy and if you become my mate and you have kits you would have to give up your duties for a while, do you want to do that"? He asked, this was his way of asking her to become his mate but he didn't want Littlewing to have to give up her deputy duties just to become a mate to someone who only had one ear and was pretty much useless at the moment.
