Owen did as was told and if he'd been able to enunciate, somebody would have heard an intricate selection of finely placed curse words. Heather hadn't been lying. The stuff tasted like death. When he had finished he fell back in the cot, already exhausted and mentally punching himself for messing up so royally. At this rate, I'll never get out of here. With his slightly okay hand, he pulled off his beanie and tossed it on the table next to him as it was only making him hotter. Then he pushed the hair that had a habit of always getting stuck in his eyes back to reveal his forehead just a bit. Almost in a daze, he stared up at the ceiling and tried to ignore that fact that his heart was beating oddly fast and every breath was getting just a tad bit harder to execute.

Alexus narrowed her eyes at the healer. She was in a rush, and did not answer. "Heather? Hellooo?" Alexus said impaitently, waving a hand in front of heather's face. "Anyone home?"

"Can't talk right now, Owen has been poisoned. This is serious." Heather replied as she raced back into the room with some water, a cloth and some mysterious liquid in the other bowl she was carrying. She sat down at his side, by the shoulder which had been shot. "I'm afraid I don't have anything for pain right now so your just going to have to bear with me. I'm going to get the bullet out and squeeze as much poison as I can get out of that wound there before giving you the antidote. Squeezing out some of the poison will help the antidote work faster. You can bite on this extra cloth I brought if you'd like." She added, offering him the cloth she had brought.

Alexus froze, pale like a ghost in her own tracks. She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. questions ran through her mind like a reel of movie film, her brain turned onto overdrive. Was this from yesterday? Was this her fault for going into the village? Whats going on? Would Owen survive....? Alexus felt sick to her stomach as she sank to the floor of heathers hut, her eyes dazed and her face emotionless

"Yay," he managed out weakly but with a smile. If he wasn't sarcastic about anything he just wasn't Owen. The boy took a couple deep breaths and blinked slowly but he didn't object any. He wasn't keen on the idea of there being a possibility for more pain but he hardly had the energy to say anything about. But hey, he was a big boy. He'd manage. Hopefully. He struggled to stay awake and forced himself to focus on her moves. Even though sleep tugged at him and his mind was going all fuzzy, he knew that he didn't trust his body to operate normally if the boss upstairs was taking a nap.
