do you ever have outfits in rl that represent one or more of your characters? do you ever dress up similar to your sona? (not counting fursuiting or cosplaying - just casual)
No I do not. My sona sometimes wears the same things as me since she is me but I don't have anything in real life that represents any of my characters or antyhing.

what do you like most about characters? species? names? colors? traits?
I like the character itself. Mainly the design though. A design must be visually appealing to me for me to enjoy it. I also prefer decent quality art at least for the ref so I can see everything the designer intended.

what do you consider to be a "high quality" character? what defines it - quantity or quality of art? writing? general things about the characters?
I like seeing decent art, but I know that sometimes you don't have the profits for art so I also enjoy seeing writings and a well developed character to make them high quality. Again must also be visually appealing.

how do you create names for your characters; are they based off real life things, or are they simply random? do you like to use other languages? what names do you not like, or what ways of naming characters do you not like?

Mostly random, though sometimes i'll search for names with a certain meaning(i.e. I searched 'names meaning star' to get Estelle's name).

what do you like most about characters? species? names? colors? traits?

Design is the biggest, though I can also be picky with species. A nice ref and a couple good art pieces are always nice as well.
