For my wolves, I just say some random sounds aloud until I find one I like, for other characters I usually google some exotic names.

Nope, not me. I mean... my fursona has some features of my younger self but he doesn't exactly match me anymore.

what do you like most about characters? species? names? colors? traits?

I love uniqueness. Canines, horses, cats, they are all nice but then suddenly out of nowhere there will be this character with such a unique and breathtaking design that will just remind you why you started owning characters. I love to feel like the character could be real, in some world.

For me high quality is a personal opinion. I overall like the creativness in the character's design, species, etc. Good art work is a plus for sure though.

I do not like usermade species. The only usermade species I own is Hahneee my Wild Mountain Equid and even then....not a huge fan. I don't like lineart characters so basically species characters are just not enjoyable for me.

My characters are usually just named whatever I find fitting. Sometimes I've just thrown a bunch of letters together to make a name, other times its based off of their personality or their theme. Mostly it's just whatever I find suits them.
