Story: In the never ending race for equality and peace in the world, there are always obstacles you have to over come in order to achieve this goal. Sometimes life gives you setbacks in order to test your skill, to see if you are worthy of the prize that comes at the end of the finish line. You have to take these draws and opportunities and prove to them you are better and you can get through anything set down in your path as if it was never there. All you have to do is stand up and brush the dirt off of your pants and keep running. Don't ever stop, no matter what.
Kinsey knew that everything set in front of her was something she had to face on her own in order to continue on her journey through this war of acceptance. She battled and struggled with them ever day: hate speeches against her, rallies against her, threats of assault and worse, everything. This never stopped her. She trudged through the sludge of hate and came out of the other side a hero in the end. It was her duty to bring justice to those who needed it within her community. She brought joy and freedom to those who felt lonely and trapped. To those who society had turned a blind and evil eye to. To those who needed someone to love when their parents abandoned them. To those who were treated like monsters when they were just like everyone else. To those like her.
Kinsey lived in a safe haven for the LGBTQA+ community, a place she created for those who felt unsafe and alienated to join together and live in peace. Everyone from every spectrum lived there: the homosexuals, the asexuals, the bisexuals, the pansexuals, the demisexuals, the agenders, the genderfluids, the transgenders, and everyone in between. Even otherkin. Everyone who society tossed aside because they were "different" even though they were not and needed somewhere to go. They were safe here. Sometimes the community would get attacked by groups of people, but they were safe within the confined walls of the community neighborhood; all damage that had been done was futile. Sometimes trash would get thrown over while on fire, hate messages, and other unimaginable things, but they were safe within the high walls. They had to create their own world now. The allies would send in things the community needed: news papers, product stocks (they had stores that needed to be kept up), and more. Even though they were safe physically, a lot of emotional toll took place on a lot of the people. Not everyone would make it safely in time to the gated community, some missed their families even though they were rejected, some felt too distant from the outside world, some were so filled with wanderlust that they cried to be set free even though they knew it was dangerous. They would have to remain silent in order to get around safely.
Kinsey wanted to help everyone. These were her friends, her people. Even her girlfriend Evangeline was struggling to maintain her own sanity within the walls. She wanted to explore the world.
