I agree with you, most Ghibli movies have great german dub.
When it comes to other anime,.... arrgh...
I'll just say: I usually watch anime in english, even if there actually is a german version.
I just can't accept the fact that they have the same voices as actors for shows that are for the age group of first graders.
I just can't.
I prefer jap dub over eng. If not ger dub than mostly jap dub with ger sub or eng sub if I can't find the other. I often have problems to understand eng dub without sub so I rather avoid that.
Love Gerrit Schmidt-Foß, Helmut Krauss, Till Hagen and Oliver Rohrbeck and those other that I can't remember that well. Many anime only get german dub after I already finished them so I didn't watch many with it and ger dub is harder to find on the internet, but I like the german dub of Detective Conan, Death Note (as far as I watched it), Guardian of the Spirit, Yugioh, Inuyasha, Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, Pretty Cure, Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water, most anime movies I watched...
There are cases of pretty bad ger dub, but I find it a bit sad, that people think that all ger dub is bad because of that and don't even try it anymore. It's sad for those really good voice actors and I guess the dub won't get better if nobody watches it anyway. Though I think many of the better ones also rather do movies, games or audio dramas (maybe because they get more money for it).

That may be true in some cases, but sometimes the Anime is better than the Manga, I wouldn't generalize that Manga is always better. Plus, some people can't really read mangas, I can never get used to reading from right to left so i hardly read mangas xnx
do you have any anime you'd call better than the original manga? i can't think of any, but then again i'm a pretty big manga fan so i might be a bit biased haha.
in manga, the story is a lot less rushed since there isn't as much worry about a 23 minute limit. it's also easier for me to connect to the characters, though i've noticed some characters are more likable when animated
Somehow I read lots of mangas, but not those from which I also saw the anime. Though I think there are many animes from which I would say, that they are as good as the manga and it just feels nice to see the characters moving. Action manga just get more speed animated, though some manga manage to portray very exciting fights
(sometimes I also get suprised about how well a fight gets described in a novel). Also comedy sometimes gains something from being animated and stories can also get another atmosphere with music.
Fullmoon wo Sagashite, Mermaid Melody and Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne seem to have more content (didn't read the manga, just judging from the number of chapters the mangas have), but don't change much of the story. You can like the changes or not, but I would say some in Fullmoon were good changes.
I tried reading Vampire Night, but the story just went to crazy for me so I would say the anime is better than the manga.
