" now I've hidden a clump of moss soaked and mouse bile somewhere in this clearing. What I want you to do, is close both of your eyes, and use only your hearing and sense of smell to find it, and pounce on it "

I nod. "Alright." I close both of my eyes and sniff. I pad blindly around, bumping into a couple of trees as I search. Finally, I find the source of the smell and pounce on it. "Found it!" I call proudly.

" Nice! Now this time I'll hide again , And I want you to use your whiskers to keep from bumping into trees . If you can learn to hunt without site at all, it will be easy with only one eye!"

I sigh. "Alrighty. I hope this will be as easy as the last time." I mutter to myself. After she is finished hiding the objects, I go searching again. When I am near a tree, my whiskers brush it and I move away. After a little while, I find them and pounce on them. "Found them!"

" now for the real test. You need to go into the forest and bring back a piece of prey. Remember, use your smell and hearing to make up for your loss of sight. Oh, and you are allowed to use your one eye."

I sigh. "This will be hard." I go farther into the territory and scent the air. I smell a magpie and look up. I see it and climb up the tree it is in. I stalk it for a little bit then creep up on it. I pounce on it and give it a killing bite. I hop down from the tree and pad triumphantly back to them, the magpie in my mouth. "Did it!" I mew proudly.

" but I thought you said you didn't know how to hunt ? She said Purring

Mudpaw was bored as she looked for prey, She could not find anything so she just walked around aimlessly untill she noticed she was lost "Help!" She yelled hoping someone heard her.
