Clara //
She blushed. "I, uh, don't really watch movies or TV. I'm more of a book person." Clara bit into her muffin, embarrassed.

"Same. My apartment doesn't have cable. Or, at least, I don't go through the bother of paying extra for it. Do you have any other hobbies aside from reading?"

"Well, I write sometimes. Mostly fanfiction. I talk to my cat." I control weather. Clara almost laughed.

Matthew smiled slightly. "I...don't do anything interesting. I vandalize property occasionally. I'm usually trying to avoid the police. That's about it."

She picked up her latte when all of a sudden she slipped and fell. "great, now everyone is looking at me." She muttered as people turned to look at her.

"Well," she said, "evading the police is always a good idea for a fugitive." Clara smiled.

Theo //
Theo reclined in the library's plush chair, holding up a copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Of course, he’d read it many times before, but he was bored, and really not in the mood to find a new book. Theo occasionally glanced up at passersby, hoping to see his best friends, Chad and Bronwyn, even though he knew that they all still lived back in Victoria. They had frequented the local library, piling unread books around them and paging through for hours. Theo was surprised to find his eyes watering. Come on, get a grip. You moved months ago. And it’s not like you won’t make new friends here. But everyone seemed to treat Theo as the outsider, the new kid, and he’d all but given up hope of finding someone to even talk to.

( oh boy my mom says i’m not allowed to post until monday or something b/c i have homework. oh noes ))

He walked into the library and strolled through the aisles looking for a book. He eventually gave up and decided to go get a drink from the cafe. Walking out, he passed by a boy reading in the library's plush chair.

Felix was bored. Felix was almost always bored around here, but seeing as he was currently in the library, he was extra-super-duper bored. Felix leaned against the bookshelf slightly, making a groaning noise.

matthew //
"Of course it is. It's not like I'm the police squad's favorite person. Probably the polar opposite, actually." Matthew sipped from his cup absentmindedly, not really very thirsty.

finny //
"No, I'm not a morning person. Ever." She mumbled, rubbing her eye and turning slightly to face Jace. "I just-" Her speech was interrupted by a yawn. "I just need to get my sleep schedule on track.."

Jace playfully poked her forehead and sat back in his chair. "Ah well. That's unfortunate." He grinned and flipped through his notebook. "Oh, hey! So I heard the new kid is having a party tomorrow night. Everyone in school is invited." He advised Finny and pulled a small peice of blue paper from his pocket. "He must be rich. Lucky him."
