He nodded his head and shifted his feet around better to regain his balance. "Alright fishies. Beware the mighty hunter cause I'm gonna catch ya." He said to himself grinning as he looked down at the water, being extra careful to keep his shadow out of the way. Seeing a fish coming his way he prepared to hit it and threw is paw into the water. Sadly he missed it by a mile and ended up splashing himself in the face. He sputtered a bit at the water and shook his head.

She gasped and shook her head, "Moonlight no!" Vixen couldnt move it was like her body was frozen, her eyes filled with tears and she clawed the dirt...What do I do... what do I do....? the fox colored she cat shook with fear as the fox came closer.

Sorry! Late reply I had to take the real Vixen to the vet, she had a tummy ache and wouldnt eat anything. Turns out she needed a csection and has a bunch of baby kitties!

Night-Thrush said,laughing " Don't worry, It takes time with fishing. Even the great Hawkfeather missed during hunting." At the thought of hawkfeather, his face darkened. He sighed, then saw a fish. He quickly pawed it out of the water, and it landed on the grass. He made a quick and hard blow to the head, and the fish stopped struggling. He said " That's how you do it."

He watched how Nightthrush hunted with great intensity as it all seemed to click. ~he struck ahead of the fish to catch it in time! That's what I did wrong!~ new determination filled his being as he turned back to the task at paw. Squinting his eyes in focus he waited. As soon as another fish came by he did the same thing as before, this time aiming ahead of the fish. He hit it dead on and flung it from the water. He stumbled a bit before pouncing on where it landed and killing it. His eyes glowed with joy as he turned to his mentor. "I did it, Nightthrush! I actually did it!" He exclaimed joyfully.

She just barely dodged the foxs snapping jaws as she slid under the beast. Striking its belly with her claws as she slid out behind it. She had dealt with several foxes when she first moved into the barn. Only difference is that back then she was a bit faster and younger. She jumped up whe she reached behind it. She went to pounce on it's back but yowled when it turned its head and latched its teeth into her leg. It was a old fox thankfully, it's teeth worn down by age but it still punctured the skin and left pain surging through the she-cats body. Fear replaced her want for vengance as she clawed its nose and it released her. Turning to where Vixen stood, frozen, she called, "Vixen! Run!" As she swiped at the fox again, this time trying to buy time to get away. Her now injured leg surged in pain and she winced running from the fox, still slightly stunned, and limping badly.
