~ P E R S O N A L I T Y ~
Evelyn (though many just call her Vinnie) is a sweet Parra, who loves Iceland. She frequently dreams of returning to the snow-covered mountains and fierce volcanoes that she once called home. She was moved from there, though, because she couldn't stand the isolation. There aren't many people there, only about seven per square mile, and even less Parrapups. Evelyn is a very outgoing Parra, and when she left, stowed away on a big, viking-like ship, she found a great home in America, where Parrapups and humans alike are very plentiful! She's immediately befriended Duncan, a slightly older Parra with a dark coat and hidden personality that she can easily bring out. Evelyn has dutied herself with helping Duncan achieve his dream of becoming a daredevil, performing death-defying aerial acts for millions. She does have her own dreams, though, and her biggest dream of all is to sing in an Icelandic band. Her favorite song is a folk song, Hjer er svo kalt, which is a very soft, sweet song about the cold of Iceland. She sings the song in her native tongue whenever she is alone, or in the company of those who want to hear it, which is rather often. (She has a beautiful singing voice, especially for such a young Parrapup, that will only grow more enchanting as she ages into adulthood) Evelyn studies both Icelandic and English renditions of many songs, current and ancient, from many forms of music, folk and rock being the most plentiful. Sometimes she can even get the tough-guy Duncan to give her a hand during her performances by playing music (usually digital, one Parra can't be a whole musical band can he??) while she sings her songs.
Aside from singing, Evelyn loves to play. Being the outgoing, upbeat Parra she is, she can't help but want to go outside and romp around with whatever young Parra will play with her! Want to play tag? You're it! Hide and seek? She starts counting! The quiet game? Err... She's going to have to deny that offer. She can be quite the chatterbox sometimes! It's alright though, she knows when enough is enough, and will move on to chat with someone else!
Oh, and she has a slight addiction to Atlantic puffins. They're just so... well, puffin-y!
