I like neither AOT, nor Tokio Ghoul, nor Hetalia, nor Spongbob, nor South Park, nor Tribute of Panem, nor Twilight, nor Avatar, nor Shades of Grey or any of those popular horror movies - maybe something is just wrong with me XD

spongebob sucks tbqh
Ah yes. The hate of popular things. I only hate popular fashion trends or things like loom bands >_> *shudders*
Because what becomes trendy is ugly to me.

Have you watched any of those though? Tokyo Ghoul/Hetalie/South Park etc..
I mean I don't mind that people dislike things. Just when they bash it in public especially x3

I read the first few pages of AOT and saw the beginning of the anime, I saw a few episodes of Hetalie, Spongbob and South Park, I saw all of the Twilight movies (because my sister had them) and I saw Avatar. I only know the story of Tokio Ghoul, Panem and Shades of Grey. Also saw one of the Saw movies, will never get that out of my head...
It's not that I hate them, but I find some of them just mediocre or the content questionable (especially when people say "you just don't like it, because you don't understand it" or something like "it just shows the truth nobody wants to talk about" -.-).

Yeah Twilight is very boring imo actually.

Well what kind of anime/manga do you like? :>
It seems you just knocked every genre out of the way. x3

Praises you for making that club and sharing here orz for I now can't wait for the rest of the anime
to be released and I have something to do during school lunch by reading the manga.

Ay well there's always MLP.
You don't like any other kinds of anime?

Not forcing it on you, just curious. <: We all move on from things.
For once I thought I'd never stop listening to a particular band but I don't really like them now kek

I mainly like Romance (be it Shoujo or Yaoi...), Crime fiction and Fantasy - most stories I read have to do with either one of these. I don't really dislike any genre though, but I avoid sport and horror a little.
I have a hard time keeping up with anime, somehow manga is easier for me. My manga list already contains over 300 mangas (read and reading), but my anime list only contains about 80 (movies and series) and I still need to finish most of them.

Nitro has been like this for quite some time now, so I'm kinda out of advice.

Skipping through some of my favourite yaois:

Still love that scene (the other one just said that the black haired guy is a bit of a player while he was on a date).
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

I think the problem is you're looking for anime similar to FMA which was a super dark and agsty series in itself, so all the fans recommending similar anime are recommending things similarly dark and agsty. I mean it's been probably 10 years since I first watched FMA but I remember it was consistently really gloomy and hopeless. So taking the tone of the anime out of the equation, I don't really know what you mean by similar to FMA - about alchemy? About brothers? About a quest? Fantasy genre?

I think D. Gray Man is very similar to FMA. It's not violent from what I remember? It's dark in tone like FMA is but it's really not angsty. Fantasy genre, main characters are male, lots of magic.

Maybe Karneval as well? No real violence, a reasonable amount of angst, and I think an FMA fan could appreciate it. Again, male main cast, lots of magic, high fantasy.

Have you tried all the more popular anime outside of Japan - Soul Eater, Naruto, Sword Art Online, Black Butler, Fairy Tale, Inuyasha, One Piece - I think they are popular outside of Japan because they arent too violent or too dark so, like FMA, kids can enjoy them. I personally can't really stand anime like that but you could try? XD

Or honestly maybe the solution is you leave the anime club and just stick to the FMA club? Then when you find more you like you can come back. But repeatedly posting about how you don't like anime anymore isn't really adding to the conversations. :/ its like if i went into the fma club just to post about how i dont like fma

some people explode in it and it is rather
angsty in the later parts

Well, I like AnoHana, but that's only 13 episodes long, and I can't find an official release of it or anything related.

@BlackBloodiedRose: No need to be rude... I don't have a problem with violence, it's just that a lot of violent animes don't have much substance to them.
Also, a lot of people on Bulbagarden Forums are labelling 4Kids as xenophobic because they blank out Japanese text that they're too lazy to translate. I can see where they're coming from, but they're going a bit too far...

Oh yes the romance genre. Fantasy is good too.
300 mangas. Do you own them all or borrow from libraries/read online?

I like to read manga but it's hard for me to get my hands on any so I have to rely on reading online.
But I much prefer to have a manga to hold than online. Just so much easier and a good way to pass time.

What is that yaoi?
((I've never read or watched yaoi because other things to watch.))
I don't know if I prefer yuri over yaoi anymore kek

A while ago I found a tumblr blog dedicated to the wonderful anatomy in yaoi.
