"Yes, I can cook most basic things." I told him "Not any of the more difficult stuff. I've been cooking for me and my brother for a while now though I only have to cook for myself since my brother went looking for a job in Seyenia." I started making the soup.

Max watched Hope make the soup. He wanted to know more about her brother, but it was probably personal. He probably wouldn't want to talk about it if one of his siblings went off to Seyenia. "Where'd you learn to cook? Or did you just find out with practice...?"

Scarlet poked Dominic, grinning. "Even the ones in Seyenia? They're probably always smelly and fierce looking from the training. Although they can't be all that good if we beat them while they had all those people," she said lightly. She felt bad for the people in Seyenia because of the dictator, but didn't want to ruin the mood.

Dominic shrugged. "I pity them actually. I feel like it was a last resort. They probably were offered food and somewhere to sleep, so they took the chance." he said softly.
