Can You Find Things More Easily Than Most People?

i find things better than my parents, which is no surprise, but i think that's it. i may find certain things first when it's my classmates.


i've got a bit of synesthesia. when someone says (certain) word(s), a taste comes into my mouth. when i see something, i "feel" it.

also, a funny thing that i like to do is to use both my eyes and ears to "focus". if i hear something, i go "deeper" into the sound(s). the same applies to eyes, "focusing" into the object as i examine every single detail while just sitting and staring at it.
no idea if that even counts xd

And sometimes, if I focus quite hard, I do see reoccuring colours of sounds. Like the humming of an air conditioner is purple and an engine revving is a bright red.

now that you mention it, I do find those letter games particularly easy (like find the n in the m's)

...I can also write things with both hands at the same time, mirroring each other.
Apparently that's common among synthetes.

Hey guys I had a really interesting experience the other day o.o
I was trying to learn Take Me To Church on the piano, which is usually a faded purply color
However, when I was playing it on the piano, each verse of it was a totally different color-
well, not only color but something else
For example:
My lover's got humor - bright pink, but also flip flops and flowers
she's the giggle at a funeral - bright yellow and someone leaning against a doorframe
knows everybody's disapproval - dark blue and stars
should have worshipped her sooner - light green and more stars
So yeah the whole song was like that and I was pretty fascinated I guess that's never really happened
Also, when the sun moved and changed the lighting on the keys I totally forgot everything because it switched color

Don't have synaesthesia, wish I did. What about numbers for you character-color guys?

(I think if I did have it, I'd probably have something weird, like taste to sound. Sweet things would sound like little bells.)

that's strange, but it makes sense. different instruments should have different colored sounds, I suppose...

zero- pretty much black, a little purpley
one- a dark, rich, blue
two- yellow with blue edges. sometimes it swaps, though.
three- yellow-green
four- purple. very purple.
five- dark green and grey
six- yellow and pink
seven- green
eight- pretty yellow.
nine- erm, this one isn't as strong... sometimes it's mostly transparent?
