She nodded as the twosome padded through the cavern following the stream, when they fi ally slipped through a hole in the rocks Vixen groaned, "Oh finally fresh air!"

She ran out and smiled at the sunlight that hit her face. Looking around she asked, "do you know where we are, Vixen?" She asked padding back to her friend and sitting down.

She sniffed the air, all she could smell rock and the water, trees were too far away, but she could see them, "Honestly I have no Idea.. but we shouldnt be far from the barn, we didnt walk that far." She reassured Moonlight and climbed up to a rock to look at the horizon, "Hmmmm." Vixen meowed as she tried to picture a way back to the barn, "Have any ideas?"

reedwhisker snarled, glaring at the apprentice. "no, i'm not," he spat, yanking his paw off her tail. he narrowed daggers into scorchpaw and padded out of camp with a swift slash of his tail.

She stood up and laid her ears back.. at least she got him from being mad at the others, she hoped, "Wai-" Scorchpaw knew hed may want to be alone.. but she felt like her paws wanted to run after him.. looking back at the medicine den and the apprentince den.. Theyre gonna call me a traitor.. running after Reedwhisker, Scorchpaw meowed, "Hey wait!"

reedwhisker's ear twitched as he briefly heard his apprentice. sighing, he turned around to face her. "is everyone in your family so stubborn?" he snapped, shaking his head. "i want to be alone, kid. is that too much to ask for?"

"Probably.." Scorchpaws ears laid down as flat as they could and her tail drooped, at his snap, "Im sorry.. I.. came... to say Im sorry..." The rusty she cat looked down and turned away.. before she left Scorchpaw added, "If you keep wanting to be alone.. youll never have anycat.." then she ran off to the apprentince den, "Well hes gone." Sclrchpaw meowed a bit irritated amd a little bit upset.

reedwhisker huffed, shaking his head as he listened to the apprentice. all her worrying and stubbornness would get her killed one of these days. opening his mouth to respond, he found himself surprised at the fact that she she-cat was gone. mulling over her words, he muttered, "i don't plan on having anyone anytime soon," he muttered, shaking his head.

shiverpaw glanced outside the elder's den. spotting scorchpaw pad back into the apprentices' den, she frowned and padded in after her cousin. hearing greypaw, she waved her tail in a small farewell. "tell her i said hi!" she meowed, sitting in her nest.
