Who is your equids favorite herd member?

Jester: As much trouble as she gives him, Jester really does love his daughter Quipster a lot. But I think his mate Sterling has to be at the top of the list
Segue: He may seem self centered (and he sorta is), but Segue has a huge soft spot for little Riordan. He just thinks the colt is so sweet and gentle, and would totally protect him from anything
Sterling: Sterling has become a real mothering figure, and loves all the members of the herd dearly. Of course, Jester is her man and no one could fault her for picking her mate as a favourite
Quipster: Her rebellious nature may say otherwise, but Quipster has always been a daddy's girl a heart. She wouldn't admit it if anyone asked, but Jester is still her favourite
Riordan: Mommy! Such a momma's boy, there is absolutely no contest


Okay, so I have a bit of a question for those of you more knowledgeable than I am about breedings: if I ask for the base of one parent, does that request automatically include mane colour as well? Like, say the sire is solid black, and the dam is flaxen chestnut. If I ask for the dam's base, will that mean chestnut flaxen, or just chestnut base?

Who is your equids favorite herd member?

Risa: Probably her daughter, Kaia, though her best friend Luna would be a close second.
Luna: She loves her son Apollo <3 Her sisterhood with Risa is special though.
Kaia: She basically loves everyone, but besides her mother, feels closest to Apollo who sometimes acts like a big brother even though he's younger.
Apollo: Loves his momma Luna, and also has a soft spot for Kaia because their mothers are so close and they were foals together.
Frederick: Is he allowed to pick himself? If not, then his fellow stally Apollo; he needs Apollo's chill attitude sometimes.
Ettie: She appreciates the intelligent conversations she can have with Apollo, but also Frederick's comic relief.
Nea: She's starting to stray away from the herd and is spending more time with her domestic mate Zanzibar, so her herd-relations are complicated. She has always looked up to Luna though.

Soumraku- Probably Tawa.
Tawa- Gavreel, he's really nice to her.
Cinis- If he had to pick, Soumraku.
Gavreel- Tawa's nice, she listens to his stories.
Crowley- Aziraphale, no doubt about it.
Aziraphale- Crowley.

If anyone would have told me before the new year that I would have not one, not two, but THREE equid breedings lined up, I never would have believed them. Never. But I was bit by the breeding bug after Riordan was born, and now... I don't know if I can stop myself. This baby though, this is going to be one heck of a stunner once she comes around

Shaw- she loves everybody. No favorites.
Asteria- Kinra *suggestive eyebrow wiggles*
Calypso- Herself.
Kinra- Asteria *more suggestive eyebrow wiggles* She struggles to really establish a connection with most Equids.
