Welcome to Mythicarium!
Perhaps you were just out walking and the seemingly endless stone wall caught your attention. Or maybe you were seeking a special companion and heard rumors of this magical place. Whatever the reason, you have found your way to the Mythicarium, a place where magical creatures are for sale and wonders abound.
Rules
✤ General Rules
1. You must own or be intending to adopt a Mythicarium adoptable. If you have an order placed this counts.
2. Please try to use proper spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation.
3. Posts should be between 10-200 words, or approximately 2 sentences to 2-3 paragraphs. This does not need to be exact but try to avoid going too far over or under.
4. Use ((Double Parentheses)) for OOC and try not to make too many posts that contain only OOC talk. If you have a question or want to chat, PM the other person.
5. No god-moding, powerplaying, mary sues, or killing other people's characters.
6. Do not go more than 2 pages between my posts.
7. Your character must be approved before you can begin roleplaying. Please submit your character forms for review here.
7. New rules may be added as needed.
✤ Location Rules
1. Post the code for the location your character is at before any text or dialogue relating to that character. This is to avoid confusion and allow people to find each other easily.
2. Only one player per shop at a time. That player may use multiple characters. If someone is already at a certain shop, no other players may have characters enter. Please do not use this rule to intentionally monopolize a specific shop or shopkeeper.
3. Please keep violence and other disorderly conduct to a minimum. Mythicarium is private property, meaning your character can be thrown out and banned for misbehavior. Bans of this kind do not apply to the player.
4. Characters may enter and exit through the main gate at any time. No roleplaying is to occur outside the gate. If you know you will be away for more than a few days, please have your character finish their current business and exit until you are able to resume.
✤ Adopt Rules
1. When RPing a Mythicarium adopt, be sure to read and follow the species description on the main page.
2. Only humanoid species are capable of real speech and language. Communication with animal species should be on a similar level to what it is in the real world, e.g. having an understanding of animal body language, recognizing the general meaning of certain sounds, etc.
3. You may not attempt to steal an adoptable from another player without their permission. You may attempt to steal one from a shop, but this is generally not advised and may result in your character, not the player, being banned.
4. Any exchange/sale/trading of Mythicarium adoptables that occurs during the RP is binding. This means if your character gifts one of their pets to another player, then that pet will officially belong to them unless specifically stated otherwise prior to the exchange. This also means any pet acquired from a shopkeeper is yours to keep.
Anyone found to be disobeying these rules may be given a warning or permanently banned from the roleplay depending on the severity of the rule breaking.
