Dear Diary,
my father gave you too me to commemorate my seventeenth birthday. Why? Because the last year has been rough, and he feels like I need a place to talk about my feelings about "female stuff". I'd better start off by explaining why this was his gift of choice....
Well, when I was four, my mother died and our house burned. I, my dad, and my baby brother managed to get out. We went off and started hunting demons together. That was until my baby brother went to college and disappeared. Now we have to go and find him and what killed mom before-
Wait, wait, wait. Never mind. That's a tv show, whoops. Here's what really happened:
My name is Gwyn River Barker. What you see above is pretty much what I wear. About a year ago, my mom died in a crash. I was an only child, so it was just me and my dad. Well, we started moving around. Finally we settles down here, in Barksville, Arkanpaws. I'll be attending Alexander Graham Tail School of Arts in a few days, when we settle in. My da was really excited to give this too me today, on my seventeenth birthday. He knows there are things you need a mom for, and he was hoping if I wrote it down I'd have an easier time dealing with it. He really wanted me too call it something, like my ruby or gem or whatever, but I find that foolish. It's just my diary!
I'm really missing my best friend, Rave. Sure, I can text her and write, but it's not the same as being face to face, ya know?
Anyway, dad's calling me down for dinner. I'll write tomorrow, Diary.

Dear Diary,
Today, I made my first friend at AGTSA! Here's what happened...
Well, I walked up to the front desk. The lady asked who I was, and what my art was. I gave her my name and art - acting. She gave me the BEST schedule I've ever seen! My favorite classes were improve, directing, and drama. They were amazing! Then I also had two extra classes of my choice. I chose a writing class, and then I could choose my last one at the end of the day.
When I was walking to the writing class, this guy tripped me, and I went FLYING onto the floor, and my stuff went everywhere. While I was scrambling to gather everything up, another girl came to help me. She had a black backpack, and she had a quiver and was wearing a really cool armour chest plate. She introduced herself as Eleanor Oasis.
Eleanor showed me around, and recommended I take swordsmanship as my last class. I was really happy to learn there was a class for swordplay; Rave had been really into it, and I couldn't wait to practice again!
