Kiara struggled out of the stream, shaking her wet fur."Thank you very much," she said.Amusement twinkled in her eyes.She shook again, trying to get little droplets of water on Donte.She didn't bother to try and groom it for that would make it worse.Kiara watched Donte with a sly playfulness like she was watching his every move with caution.Deep down, Kiara did enjoy the little bath, though she was going to pretend like it was awful.

She lay there unconcious , the faint shadows dissapearing , her body stretched out in the grass.

Darwin ran like the wind, marking every tree and bush he could. He was now the leader of this group, so it was his job to make sure they where safe and secure where they where living. He thought back on yesterday the encounter he had with the male dog. 'Maybe I should have put up a fight" he said aloud. He didn’t like fighting, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t fight. He shouldn’t have made himself seem like such a push over. Next time she gets the chance, he will fight, and not back down. It was his job now to make sure the humans also stayed safe. He never really admitted it.. But he loved the humans. All he ever got from them was kindness.. 'Maybe after all this over.. Ill find... a home..' Darwin thought to himself as he continued to mark his new territory...

Lillie was on the search for a drinking spot of some sort.. She lifted her head to sniff, but she smelt... nothing.. 'There has to be something around her' she thought. Just then about 1/2 a mile away, she heard something wonderful.. A splash! "Water!" She said aloud as she ran towards the sound.. Chirping.. Buzzing... croaking.. All sound from the pound. She could see the water now. It looked delightful. She also saw two dogs playing in the water.. She crept up closer and laid down.. She never had seen these dogs before and wasn’t about to approach them just yet..

Grim laughed. "It can be, yeah. That buck was a big one." He looked up, sensing something was wrong. He walked out, sniffing around, and caught the scent of a female. He walked on, spotting Suki in the distance with Arber. "Hello? Who is this?" He could tell she wasn't a threat. "Are you okay?" He poked at her with his nose.

((Ri is with Storm))
Storm sniffed at the pregnant female's pelt. "How far along are you?" She looked up, realizing how long she'd been gone. "I have to get back to my group! Come with me, there's food!" She started to run off, looking back to see that Ri was following.

Donte laughed, and stepped into the water. "Well, now we know where the water is. Come on, we need more food." He nuzzled her side with his nose, and turned around. Then, he spotted a fish. Lowering himself in the water, he waited until it got closer and snapped at it with his teeth, catching it easily.

Arber shook her by the scruff. She was still breathing, so she was not dead. "WAKE UP!" he sat beside her watind for her to wake up. he hoped she was ok. She seemed fine, no cuts, no wounds.

Ri tried to keep up with Storm. She followed her all the way to the camp. She hoped the other dogs would be ok with her. All she wanted was for her puppies to be in good hands if she ever died.

"Much of a show off are we?" she teased.She saw a rabbit and tried to think of which way it would go.Finally, she decided it would go right if she went straight on, she ran left so it would go towards the river.It ran on a large curve but as it turned towards the river, Kiara got it.The white fur, fluffed from the run was parted to reveal the bite marks in it's small neck.She padded back to Donte."Rabbits are easier for me to catch," said Kiara.

Suki jumped startled. " Sorta , I guess," she mumbled. She stood slowly , trying to find the strength to stand. She resumed standing , embarrassed by her actions. " Sorry , I don't know what happened," She smiled , faintly trying to hide the aching and throbbing pain in her right rib.

(Sorry - I'm rusty on animals. I haven't roleplayed them in so long..BTW , Crystal thanks for accepting Suki into the Reaper Group. )

Grim sighed. "Stop doing that, Arber." He snapped at the male. "Young lady, wake up!" He nudged her again. Shaking his head, he turned around. "Arber, stay here until she wakes up, and take her to the camp." He walked back to the camp, spotting Storm and a strange female. "Who is this?" He narrowed his eyes at her, until he caught her scent. She was pregnant.

Storm smiled. "This female is looking for a place to give birth, and I told her you would let her stay...?" She realized she might be in trouble or making such promises. Grim just shook his head though, and dipped his head to the female. "I guess that means you can stay!" Storm wagged her tail, and led Ri in.

Donte laughed, carrying his large fish and walking toward the camp again. "Come on, we need to feed Darwin before he withers away!" He laughed kindly, thinking of the large male that had taken the place of leader in their little group.

Scarlet stood by Grim, shaking. "I smelt her before," Scarlet told Grim, looking up at him. She winced, ready to be attacked if he wished to attack her.
