"Good job Brownpaw but we will do fighting a bit later." he said walking into camp looking at Breezestar. "Hello Breezestar what brings you here?" he asked the windclan leader.

"You don't need to be worried about me! Im so strong not even Tigerstar would want to fight me!" she boasted puffing out her chest, as her and Birchclaw walked into camp. Maplepaw had caught 1 squirrel and 2 mice. She plopped them down onto the fresh kill pile and smiled at her catches.

Gingerstar turned to Pikepelt. "I think it may be better for you to leave now, and take care of Ravenpaw," she meowed. When Pikepelt had moved off, the leader said, "I hoped that we wouldn't be driven to this, but it may be time to ally with Windclan, if Wolfstar has gotten this bad. I will lend you some of my warriors, and I will help you personally. After all," she said, thinking of their ancestors pasts. "After all, no clan should be reduced to driving another out, no matter the situation."

Looking at the pile of fish, Cherryfang new it was enough. And her sister likely had come back by now. "Ravenpaw," she said. "I think that is enough to feed us for the next few days. Lets carry this back." Cherryfang took as much fish as she could carry in her jaws without dropping, and started walking towards camp.

"Would you like for some of my warriors to accompany you back to Windclan? All of them are capable," Gingerstar meowed, "and all have proved their worth many times over. I think that it would help you after the loss of a life." Thankfully, because she was so young, Gingerstar hadn't lost a single life. But she never stopped wondering what would happen when she finally did. The previous leader had told her that he saw Starclan, but never said more than that.

Back at cam, Cherryfang spotted Pikepelt and rushed over to her, telling her all about the hunting they did. Pikepelt looked proud of her apprentice learning how to fish, and walked on over to Ravenpaw to talk with her.

Pikepelt was pleased with her apprentice's progress. She would have taught fishing when Ravenpaw's land-hunting skills had developed more, but was still pleased that her sister thought her apprentice ready for such a thing. Perhaps Ravenpaw would become the best fisher in the clan.
