"It's alright. I just didn't want you to think I'd merely 'run off' with your daughter," he chuckled. "And anyway, I'm hoping you'll grow to like me, if I am to continue seeing Niamh like this."

Oisin nodded, “Well, I suppose ‘running off’ with her wasn’t the right way to ask the question.” He murmured. “So, this is the reason you wanted to work with me?”

[Bartimaeus]

"Well, yes, I suppose. I've told you already, I want to get to know you, and the rest of your family, much better. I'd love to have you all over for dinner some time."

“All of us?” Oisin murmured, quite surprised. “That’s very nice.” He added, with murmuring.

[Bartimaeus]

"Sure! Why not? I mean, how many of you are there?" Snowfoot chuckled.

"I'm not great with sums." Oisin muttered, pausing for a minute."Um, there’s ten, counting me and my wife." He added

[Bartimaeus]

"Alright then, that should be fine, I suppose." Snowfoot smiled. "We'll have to make arrangements some other time, I don't have my planner on me at the moment."

“Well, we are pretty much free every day.” Oisin replied, shrugging.

[Bartimaeus]

"Alright then." Snowfoot stopped, seeing they'd arrived back at the house. "Where do I put these down?"

"We'll leave them into the house." Oisin explained. He walked into the house, dropping his basket on the floor, sighing in relief.

Niamh watched her father coming in, she glanced out the door, waiting for Snowfoot to appear.
