He whipped his head around at the intruders, peeling his lips back into a viscous snarl. His tail flickered, two of his remaining mavens rushing to his side upon command. "What now?!"

Brynn moved quietly now she manoovered her way carefully placing her paws before seeing a large brute with the smaller fae, her muzzle was red and his mouth was covered with the very same blood. Brynn resisted a growl and waited for the right moment to attack. She saw two wolves run to the brute and looked at the fae's wounds. She growled and came out from hiding, Brynn ran to Mayzi and quickly inspected her before standing over her protectively.

"Move away from the wolf, and I won't kill you," he growled, taking a threateningly step forward, his ears flat against his head. He could hear his mavens hissing and spitting behind him, though he cocked his ears, signaling them to hold back, let him settle this.
