She laughed. "Don't we all. You can take my bedroom if you want, I'll take the couch. And Sky seems to like you, go ahead and pet her. She counts as fluffy!" Clara scratched Sky behind the ears and she let out a small meow.

Finny kicked her legs in the air thoughtfully. "Nah. I'll sleep on the couch. And yes, if you could bring Sky over here so I can cuddle her forever, that would be wonderful."

Clara //
"Ah, well, go ahead. If you need anything, let me know. I'll be in my room, I just need to... do something." Clara gave her a lopsided smile, quickly walking into her bedroom. She powered up her laptop and opened her digital diary. Clara, every day, made note of anything of interest in case she had a memory lapse. (Something had triggered one in her mother years ago, and ever since, Clara had been scared one might happen to her.)
Today was a most unusual day, she started. Frowning, Clara pummelled the keyboard with her fingers, documenting the day's events.

Finny replaced Clara's seat on the couch, quickly gathering Sky into her arms. "Oh Sky, if only I was a cat. Then I wouldn't have to deal with being able to smash people's head into the ground or lift seventy pounds worth of STUFF." She murmured to nobody in particular. Although Finny was fine with staying at Clara's house, she wished, as usual, that she could be home more often. Her mother was a nurse, and often had to work late hours, and her father was who-knows-where, leaving Finny to fend for herself for the majority of the time.

Clara //
Fastest typer in the grade. Clara smiled slightly, amused. Her class at school knew barely anything about her, but they knew she could type fast. And that's how Clara liked to be thought of, someone unknown but for one small, strange aspect. Clara finished her entry quickly, slamming her laptop shut.

Finny smiled. "I'm just lucky that I have Clara and Jace to support me. I hope they think the same about me." She mumbled, letting out a sigh and closing her eyes. In a few minutes, Finny had dozed off into a peaceful lull of sleep.
