"How can you tell!?" Kai shouted, astonished over Saum's interpretation.

After seeing Saum sigh over the two, Kai reached a simple conclusion.

"Oh, you're crushing on Ash, aren't you?" he teased.

Saumya: She sighed. "I have an older sister. I sometimes have that feeling.. And no! Of course not! He is my friend... I just hope she doesn't get too attached with her boyfriend.. once she gets one. She's sure to forget about me." Saumya closed her eyes and sighed. "I-I don't know what I'd do without her.... again."

"..I understand...but I don't think your sister will leave you because of such a petty matter. If your sister wanted to, she would have done so already." he mumbled, glancing at Dio.

"Really? I was hoping you and Ash would get together." he added

Saumya: She nodded. "Yeah, but she can get super attached to things. " She sighed. "Oh really? Now, why would you want that?" She perked her ears.

"Does she?!...I'm sorry to say this, bu... I think you're screwed." Kai said, bluntly.

Kai was never really good at giving advice anyway, and never knew how to handle these types of situations.

"I just think the two of you look good together..cool dragon wings and wacko ears and tail." he said, carelessly, still sweating a bit from the exercise.

Saumya: She nodded. "I know I am.." She looked at Kai. "Really? In my eyes, I'm not good paired up with anyone! But my sister, she's beautiful and social.. I'm that stupid un-social turtle who hides in her shell all day."

After hearing about her problems, Kai really didn't know how to respond or what to say, though, he tried to think of something that would make Saum feel better. His struggle was evident on his face, as he kept on knitting his eyebrows and bit his lower lip. Eventually, he gave up on saying anything that would make sense or smart-sounding.

"That's just what you think. I don't think you're some stupid anti-social freak, so neither should you." he said, making a couple of hand gestures.

Saumya: She looked up at him. "Really?" She smiled for once. "Thanks for boosting my spirit , Kai. You're a great friend." The whistle blew. Break time was over.
